Timeform View

A case can be made for a few of these but AMIATA is able to race off a 3 lb lower mark than his recent Cork fourth when not ideally placed so is taken to quickly resume winning ways. C&D scorer Ipanema Queen could emerge as the main danger having floundered in the mud at Cork last time, although in-form duo Allsortz and Bad Boy Rizz can have a say too in this competitive sprint.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

There is a chance of a pace burnout early, and Ipanema Queen is one who could suffer as a result: There is a chance of a pace burnout early, and Amiata is one who may benefit from being produced later.

Timeform Comments

Ipanema Queen (IRE)
Won 3 times for Adrian Murray in 2025, including over C&D at listed level. Not at her best when beating only one home in listed event in the mud at Cork last month but she's the type to bounce back, particularly if the rain stays away.
Amiata (IRE)
Improved to get off the mark for 2026 at Naas (6f) in April and backed it up with a good fourth of 8 to Allsortz in handicap at Cork (5f) 15 days ago when caught further back than ideal. Can race off a 3 lb lower mark here so big shout.
Allsortz (IRE)
Made it 2-4 this season in 8-runner handicap at Cork 15 days ago, seeming well suited by the drop to the minimum trip. Showed a good attitude there so he's a likely player up 2 lb.
Bad Boy Rizz (IRE)
Ended 2025 with 5f Navan maiden victory and he's returned this spring with very good placed efforts in handicap company at Naas and Cork, third of 8 to Allsortz on latter occasion. Well in the mix with tongue strap refitted.
Tornado Kiss (IRE)
Landed 5f Cork maiden in September. Yet to fire in her 2 runs this season, only sixth of 8 on her handicap debut there (5f) 15 days ago. Plenty more is required.
Sovereign Cry (IRE)
Ended 2025 with 5f Dundalk novice success. Last of 14 on turf debut at Naas on his return before posting a fair fourth of 12 in 5f Dundalk handicap 8 days ago. Needs to back it up reverted to turf.
Cool Azul (IRE)
Blue Point gelding who has been placed on all his 3 runs this spring, coming in a solid third of 9 in maiden at Dundalk (5f) 8 days ago. Goes into handicaps but others look better treated at these weights.
Fox In Flight
Gained a first win at Dundalk (5f) in December. Shaped as if better for the run after 5 months off when last of 8 to Allsortz in handicap at Cork (5f) 15 days ago. Trainer going well so no surprise to see him bounce back with that run under his belt.
Sparky Sparky (IRE)
€260,000 purchase who shaped with promise when in the frame in maidens at Naas and Cork on his first 2 runs. Tongue tied when a below-par fourth of 9 in maiden at Dundalk (5f) 8 days ago but could still do better now going into handicaps.
Real Encounter (IRE)
Opened her account at Dundalk (5f) in April and backed it up with a solid sixth of 14 on handicap debut at Naas (6f) 25 days ago. Not out of things off a 3 lb lower mark.
Focaccia (IRE)
Kodiac filly who took a step forward when second of 9 in maiden at Dundalk (5f) 8 days ago. Cheekpieces go on for her handicap debut but more is required given she is 3 lb wrong at the weights.
Shadow Run (IRE)
Lightly-raced maiden. Resumed with a very good second in 5f handicap at Naas in March but well below that level back in novice company with fourth of 8 at Cork (5f) following month. Visor replaces blinkers now.
