Timeform View

ENDORSEMENT ran well in defeat in 2 key Derby trials at this course and looks to have been found an excellent opportunity to get his head back in front. Stablemate Amadeus Mozart looks the one most likely to benefit should the selection fail to fire.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Endorsement traded at a low of 2.14 and Betfair SP of 4.80 when losing last time, a race in which it led.

Timeform Comments

Amadeus Mozart (IRE)
Landed the odds in 7f maiden at the Curragh on debut last summer, getting the better of a stablemate who went on to score at Group 3 level. Improved on that form when second of 5 in 1¼m Newmarket novice on return and was left poorly placed when only seventh in the Gallinule Stakes last time.
Endorsement (IRE)
Stepped up on juvenile form when chasing home Christmas Day in the Ballysax Stakes and then close third to James J Braddock in Derby Trial Stakes at this course on last 2 outings. Sets the standard on those efforts and looks sure to be suited by the step up to 1½m.
Emmeleia (IRE)
Progressive Camelot filly who stepped up on debut when winning 10.5f Dundalk maiden in April and then improved further when chasing home Thundering On in Salsabil Stakes at Navan 24 days later. Likely to stay 1½m.
So Must I (IRE)
Winner over 10.7f at Dundalk in February, but hasn't really kicked on in 2 turf handicaps since. Faces a very stiff task.
Yousaynothingatall (IRE)
Australia filly who tackled handicap company prior to getting off the mark in 10-runner 10.5f maiden at Cork last month, beating Miss Romanga by 5 lengths. Remains unexposed, but this requires a big step forward.
