Timeform View

None of these can be ruled out but it could pay to side with RED AUTUMN who shaped well on her return when a patiently-ridden fourth at Naas and should find this step up in trip very much in her favour. Johnny Soda wasn't at his best when fifth at Navan last time but could still emerge as the main danger off a handy-looking mark, while both Monvoe and How'sthebai also need factoring into this highly competitive event.

Timeform Comments

Red Autumn (IRE)
Fairly useful filly. Made a promising return from 6 months off with fourth of 13 in handicap at Naas (7f) in March, nearest finish having been left with lot to do. Not without interest with this longer trip looking a big plus.
Son Of Beauty (IRE)
Winner of 1m maiden at Dundalk in March and in good nick in handicaps since, fifth of 10 at Naas (1m) on latter occasion. Not out of things over this slightly longer trip.
How'sthebai (IRE)
Gained a first win at Dundalk (1m) in October and returned from 6 months off with a very good fourth of 10 in handicap at Naas (1m) 38 days ago. Yard having good spell so he's not taken lightly.
Monvoe (IRE)
Has returned a much improved model, opening his account in 1m Limerick handicap in April before following up in 15-runner handicap here (1m) 20 days ago. Hiked up again considerably in the weights but must enter calculations in his hat-trick bid.
Johnny Soda (IRE)
Justified support to win 1m handicap in the mud at Cork in May. Failed to improve as expected for the step up in trip when only fifth of 7 at Navan (1¼m) 19 days ago. Well worth another chance, especially if the rains come.
Ryefield Dasher (IRE)
Time Test colt who signed off at 2yrs with a solid fifth of 20 in maiden at the Curragh (1m) in November. Not ruled out if ready to roll on his seasonal return and worth a market check.
Sunrush (IRE)
Progressive son of Teofilo who still looked in need of the experience when sixth of 15 in 1m maiden here on his reappearance 20 days ago. Should have more still to offer now going handicapping.
Sweet Baby Zou
Took a big step forward in first-time cheekpieces when gaining a breakthrough success in 14-runner handicap at Gowran 3 days ago. Can make her presence felt under a 7 lb penalty with headgear retained.
