Timeform View

With his sights lowered, SECRET TRIX is fancied to record a fourth course victory. It's hard to knock Tiger Orchid's consistency and he's likely to be in the mix again, while Mammies Boy shaped as though back in form last time, without looking entirely straightforward.

Timeform Comments

Noble Birth
Largely disappointing for Gavin Cromwell last season and is now reverted to hurdles following a heavy defeat for new connections at Perth in late-April.
Secret Trix
Dual C&D winner who's also placed 3 times at this track, including when third in a stronger C&D handicap last time, and he makes plenty of appeal down in grade.
Tiger Orchid (IRE)
Veteran who typically gave his running when third at Huntingdon last time (comfortable winner has followed up since), and while on a long losing run, he's expected to go well again. Previously worn blinkers replace cheekpieces.
Top Coeur (FR)
Fair form in a pair of maiden hurdles for Gavin Patrick Cromwell, and while a long way below that level for current yard, he looks the stable first string on jockey bookings and is worth noting for support over this longer trip.
Belvedere Blast (IRE)
Quirky sort who lost his form after landing a fourth Market Rasen success last year, though he has won off a break, and returns under a claiming jockey who's been successful on 3 of his previous 4 rides for the stable.
Mammies Boy (IRE)
A winner of 3 handicaps for the O'Neill stable, he merits consideration having showed his form for capable new yard when third of 5 at Exeter (2¾m) in mid-April, though did look a handful off the bridle on that occasion.
Breezethroughlife (IRE)
Back to form on return to the scene of his sole win when third over this trip at Fakenham in April but has finished well held in a pair of 2½m handicaps since.
Faded Fantasy (IRE)
Ended last winter in reasonable heart, finishing seventh of 17 in a competitive race at Newbury, but he looks the stable second string and is likely to need the run after nearly 5 months off.
