Timeform View

BEORMA appeals as the type to run up a sequence judged on her efforts in a tongue tie of late so she's hard to get away from. Bowling Shane showed improved form switched to a handicap at Ffos Las last month and can improve further now stepping up in trip, with recent winner Brionywells another possible threat if coping with the drop back in distance.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Beorma traded at a high of 1.70 and Betfair SP of 1.75 when winning last time, a race in which it raced prominently and travelled strongly early on.

Timeform Comments

Hillsin (IRE)
Successful at Exeter (19f, good) in October on first run back with Alan Jones but poor efforts since, including when returning with a breathing problem after 4 months off at Fontwell on most recent outing.
Saxon Cross (IRE)
Points runner-up and fair form shown in bumpers in Ireland. Has shown clear signs of retaining ability for new yard but failed to justify strong support in 2m course maiden latest. Up in trip for handicap debut.
Pepite De Saphir
Showed some promise in maiden/novice hurdles for Dr Richard Newland & Jamie Insole but offered little returning for a new yard in a first-time tongue strap after 15 months off at this course recently.
Bells Of Ufford (IRE)
Maiden who ran well returning from a 3-month break when fourth of 10 in 19f handicap hurdle at Chepstow (good) in March, despite being badly hampered at the last. Yard remains without a win in over 4 months, though.
The Best Way (FR)
Low-mileage 8-y-o who built on previous promise to land a solid handicap at Newcastle in February 2025. Showed enough to suggest his ability is intact at Hexham on last month's belated comeback but stamina a question mark now moving up in trip.
The Padster (FR)
Took a step forward when fourth of 6 in Exeter novice hurdle in November but hasn't built on that in 3 starts since, finishing a remote second in first-time cheekpieces in 2½m Hereford handicap latest.
Brionywells
Showed improved form taking on males for the first time when winning 10-runner handicap hurdle at Worcester (23f, good to soft) on reappearance last week. The step up in trip appeared to suit, so a 7-lb penalty and drop back in distance may leave her vulnerable.
Beorma (IRE)
Tongue tied for first time and much improved when easily landing 5-runner handicap chase at Worcester (2m) on debut over fences last week. Landed the odds back over the smaller obstacles at Southwell on Tuesday and she may rack up a sequence. Engaged 8.30 Warwick Wednesday.
Bowling Shane (IRE)
Fair form in 4 starts on the Flat for Kevin Philippart De Foy in 2025. Well held in maiden/novice hurdles for current yard but showed improved form switched to a handicap when third of 12 in 2m event at Ffos Las last month and may do better again now stepping up in trip.
