Timeform View

SUNSHINE STAR failed to repeat her promising debut effort after 7 months off when sixth in a Sandown novice 6 weeks ago but that was a much stronger contest than this and she's well worth another chance to get back on the up. Musical Accord may emerge as the lead threat if shrugging off a lesser run at Wolverhampton, whilst Kashooda is a well-bred newcomer to note from a top stable.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Sunshine Star traded at a low of 1.74 and Betfair SP of 1.78 when losing last time, a race in which it raced prominently.

Timeform Comments

Shopaholic
Without Parole filly who has finished no better than midfield in 2 maiden/novice events so far this spring. Handicaps promise to be more suitable after this.
Antiquarian
Offered little on debut at Newmarket in the autumn but shaped better after 6 months off when sixth of 7 in a class 2 Ascot maiden (1¼m, good to firm) 4 weeks ago. Another who will be better served by handicaps moving forward
Arrivera
Study of Man filly who looked one for the longer term when sixth of 7 in a Southwell novice (1m) on debut in January. Steps up in trip now.
Blue Tulip (IRE)
Space Blues filly who was at long odds for debut and offered little short-term encouragement when eighth of 11 in a Southwell maiden (1m) 2 weeks ago. Staying handicaps later on promise to be more her thing.
Coral Cathedral (IRE)
€100,000 purchase who was found wanting for know-how throughout when ninth of 12 in a Wolverhampton maiden (8.6f) in December. This promises to reveal more upped in trip.
Corallience (IRE)
Showed some ability on testing ground at Newbury in the autumn but well held after 6 months off at Sandown (1¼m) 6 weeks ago.
Hunting Berries
Little promise either start in maidens 9 months apart.
Kashooda
Study of Man filly. Sister to winner up to 9.7f Khadidja and half-sister to 3 winners, including 2-y-o 7f-1m winner Kawida and 1¼m/10.4f winner Khinjani. Dam, 9.4f winner, half-sister to high-class 7f-11f winner Zaaki. Noteworthy newcomer hailing from top stable.
Kenkelly (IRE)
Kodiac filly who was still in need of experience and failed to improve on debut form when seventh of 8 in a Goodwood novice (1¼m, good to firm) 12 days ago. Can do better further down the line.
Lightning Glory (IRE)
Cost as €165,000 as 2-y-o and showed something to work on both starts to date, again a little green under pressure when third at Southwell (1m) 2 weeks ago. Unlikely we've seen all she has to offer, with handicaps an option after this.
Musical Accord
Made a highly encouraging start when seventh of 14 in maiden at Newbury (1¼m) in April, green but keeping on late under a patient ride. Subsequent Wolverhampton run was disappointing but she's worth another chance given promise of her debut.
Northern Bea
62,000 gns yearling, Oasis Dream filly. Closely related to useful 1½m winner Royal Associate and half-sister to 3 winners, including useful 1¼m winner Kingfisher King.
Sunshine Star
Sea The Stars filly who shaped with plenty of promise having been held back by inexperience early when second of 6 in 1m novice at Kempton on debut in October. Bit disappointing when odds on for Sandown return upped to this trip, but that is good form and she's worth another chance.
