Timeform View

I'M SPARTACUS wasn't seen to best effect when well backed over C&D last week and is well worth another chance off 3 lb lower. An elusive first win probably isn't too far away for Polar Bear given how he's been shaping off his reduced mark, while Sovereign Banter has been in good form on the all-weather and has a lower turf mark to work with.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Jampa Ling traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on 3 of its last 5 starts: Sovereign Banter traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP 3 times and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 4 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

La La Lucrative (IRE)
Came good around this time last year and took advantage of a much-reduced mark returning from 6 months off at Listowel on Sunday, clearing right away final 1f. Not an obvious type to follow up off 13 lb higher, though.
Polar Bear (IRE)
On a long losing run but continues to shape better than the bare results, his rearward position and less than clear run leaving him too far back at Sligo latest. Eased another 2 lb.
Verhoyen
Veteran course winner who confirmed he's back in form when sixth of 18 over C&D last week. Eased another 3 lb.
I'm Spartacus (IRE)
Back on scoreboard at Dundalk (6f) in March. Not seen to best effect back on turf last 2 starts, well backed when denied a clear run over C&D last week. Remains of firm interest off 3 lb lower.
Oitentinha (IRE)
Well held in a handful of starts for Daniel McLoughlin and not seen for 17 months. Tongue strap on for 1st time.
Sovereign Banter (IRE)
Just 1-23 overall but has been in consistent form at Dundalk since the autumn and has a slightly lower mark to work with on turf. Shortlisted.
Platino Bianco (IRE)
Gained belated first success on stable debut at Newcastle in December. Below par back on turf in recent months, though.
Subiaco (IRE)
Got off the mark on handicap debut at Dundalk in January but well held there last time and turf form amounts to little.
Jampa Ling (IRE)
Shown ability on the all-weather but hasn't really offered much in a handful of starts on turf.
Sunday Sovereign
Further signs of decline last year and easy enough to look elsewhere.
Whatswrongnow (IRE)
Long-standing maiden but good runner-up efforts last 2 starts, beaten only by a stable switcher over C&D last week. Headgear back on.
Luminessa (IRE)
Hinted at ability in maidens at Dundalk but struggled on handicap bow there 6 weeks ago. Turf debut.
Unfamiliar (IRE)
Barely modest maiden but has hinted at ability and better ground could suit.
Reponse Finale (IRE)
Long-standing maiden who seems just poor nowadays.
Skillman Ave (IRE)
Only one win from 23 runs and hasn't shown much for a while now.
Andosky (IRE)
Good second at Sligo (6f) on nursery debut last summer but has struggled since.
Glen Breeze (IRE)
Looks limited.
Mini Cotai (IRE)
Modest maiden. Good fourth on her return to turf at Cork last month but disappointed at Down Royal last week.
Livingston Range (IRE)
Runner up from this mark over C&D 12 months ago and posted best effort since (after 8 months off) when fourth of 17 at Navan 20 days ago. RESERVE.
Bel Espoir (IRE)
Yet to show any ability. RESERVE.
Monastere
Little form. RESERVE.
