COPPER CRAFT has been in fine form at Dundalk, going down by just a neck fitted with cheekpieces last week, and seems sure to go well if continuing the good work back on turf. Cork winner Deuteronomy, Alto Sax and Swift Charm are other players.

Timeform Comments

Deuteronomy (IRE)
Returned to form from out of the blue when winning 10.4f Cork handicap a fortnight ago, finishing with a late surge as the race fell apart. 7 lb rise manageable and he got a hat-trick up last June.
Green Icon (FR)
Winless since 2-y-o days and struggling this season, just mid-field at the Curragh on Wednesday. Unproven over this far.
In The Minus (IRE)
Won 7f Limerick handicap and 2m Galway juvenile maiden hurdle in 2025. Stiff task over hurdles last time but had run respectably in similar event on the level off 2 lb higher mark before that.
Cleopatra's Needle (IRE)
Shaped as though on a handy mark when runner-up at Leopardstown (1m) in April. Confirmed she's not as well treated over hurdles at Bellewstown last time, though could make her presence felt returning to the Flat.
Copper Craft (IRE)
Has been in good form at Dundalk, going close in 1½m handicap fitted with cheekpieces last week. Solid claims if backing that up returned to turf.
La Campanella (IRE)
Modest maiden who ran a couple of good races at Dundalk (1m) last winter. Remains unexposed back on turf after a break.
Milverton
Yet to win and lost his way badly last season. 22 lb lower than when starting out in handicaps but could only be considered if subject of market support on return.
Captain Con (IRE)
Well held in maidens and again on handicap debut at Roscommon (1½m, good to soft) 18 days ago.
Albatala (IRE)
Runner-up in 17f handicap hurdles at Down Royal in 2024/25 and went close in Curragh handicap in his younger days off 7 lb higher mark. Having first start for 13 months.
Alto Sax (IRE)
Ended a lengthy losing run when edging a 1m Dundalk handicap in April and probably remains in form, not beaten far at Gowran 16 days ago. First and third in 2 runs over C&D and one to consider.
Rushford
Fairly useful performer at one time, but has shown very little since 2022.
Maker's Mark (IRE)
Showed little last year (including tried in a hood latest start) and steps up in trip on return following 7 months off.
No Bother Aoife (IRE)
Well held in Dundalk maidens/Gowran apprentice handicap (tongue tied, 28/1). Steps up in trip.
Miss Americana
Returned with a short-head defeat at Gowran (1m) in April but not so good in 2 runs since. Couldn't dismiss all the same back up in trip.
My Kurkum
Runner-up twice on return in May 2025 but little form since.
Yquem (IRE)
Maiden who was disappointing having been well backed at Newcastle (12.4f) in February and starts out for a new trainer now.
Swift Charm (IRE)
Ran best race upped to this trip when third of 13 at Ballinrobe (50/1) 4 weeks ago and could have a small race in her on that showing.
