Veteran who capitalised on a career-low mark in good style under this rider at Ripon last month. Bit to free for his own good at Beverley since but makes more appeal than most here.
Union Island (IRE)
Narrow winner at Leicester last month, settling better under a more patient ride. Unsuited by slow pace at Hamilton since so probably still in form.
Motawaared
Didn't kick on as expected in handicaps last season and little encouragement both starts this campaign.
Starliner (IRE)
Free-going type who came out on top in a tight finish at Ayr last month and quickly back to that level when third at Hamilton 9 days ago.

Back-to-back all-weather winner in November. Continues to hamper himself out of the stalls, however, and last 2 starts suggests he's gone off the boil.

Winner on the Flat for Philip Makin but struggled last year and no show over hurdles for Gerald Stephen Quinn.
