Timeform View

BILL THE BULL has shown a tendency to hang but he's still the one to beat on the back of a much-improved fourth in a listed race at Sandown last time. Graceful George may chase him home if headgear has the desired effect, while South West, Temple Court and Madentine are others to note in a valuable maiden.

Timeform Comments

Bill The Bull (IRE)
Hung his chance away at Wolverhampton following a promising fourth in the Brocklesby on debut, but he ran straighter with the rail to guide when close fourth in a listed race at Sandown last time. Should be hard to beat if proving as tractable from an inside draw here.
Graceful George (IRE)
Finished a promising fourth at Kempton on debut prior but hung left when down the field in a valuable maiden at Windsor last time. First-time cheekpieces should help, though, he's worth another chance.
Invincible Isaac
Showed much more than on debut in the Brocklesby when fourth of 5 at Nottingham second time up. Didn't repeat that effort upped to 6f at Kempton last time but may be sharper in first-time cheekpieces on the back of a gelding operation.
Katie's Cavalier (IRE)
Kodi Bear colt showed a bit when fifth behind Bill The Bull at Wolverhampton on debut and could pick up some prize money if building on that effort.
Lucky Larry
Foaled April 6. Land Force gelding. Dam, placed at 7f/1m, out of useful 2-y-o 6f winner (stayed 1m) Pack Together. Bred to make an impact as a juvenile but it's hard to be confident first time up.
South West (IRE)
Foaled February 4. 12,000 gns yearling, Supremacy colt. Half-brother to 3 winners, including useful US 6.5f winner Straight And Level. Dam, US 5f winner, half-sister to very smart 1m winner Furthest Land and useful 1½m winner Luck Money. Makes appeal on pedigree and is worth noting for support.
Taseem
An unlikely sort on paper who only showed greenness when (80/1) last of 6 in a novice at Yarmouth on debut.
Temple Court (IRE)
Featured prominently in the betting but only showed greenness when down the field in a Newmarket maiden on debut. Reasonable to think he can make more impact on the back of a gelding operation, though.
Texas Crown
Foaled March 3. Mayson gelding. Dam unraced half-sister to useful 6f winner Aplomb. Stable an unlikely source of a debut winner.
Golden Oasis
Foaled March 15. 4,500 gns yearling, Oasis Dream filly. Dam unraced. First 2-y-o runner of the season for yard but she was an inexpensive purchase.
Holi Scarlett (IRE)
Shaped better than on debut when sixth of 13 in a novice at Newmarket (6f), seeing out the longer trip well despite lingering greenness, and she's worth considering for the places (jockey has a fair recent record for the stable).
Madentine
Invincible Army filly. Dam closely related to high-class Hong Kong winner up to 1½m Exultant. Too green to do herself justice on debut at Kempton (9/1) last month but yard has enjoyed plenty of juvenile success this season and she could do better with a run under her belt.
