LEQUINTO may again have to overcome a pace bias but a 3 lb rise for his Windsor success doesn't look insurmountable. He's narrowly preferred to Jax Edge, who has a creditable record at this course, and looks well worth another chance.

Timeform Comments

Lazzar (IRE)
Had an excellent winter on the all-weather but below form both starts back on turf and inexperienced apprentice takes over.
Jax Edge
Capped a largely consistent 2025 with success in a similar event here and while she hasn't matched that form in 3 starts this season, she's worth another chance returning to this course.
The Flying Seagull (IRE)
Hasn't won for nearly 2 years but he wasn't disgraced when fourth behind Lequinto at Windsor and does benefit from a 5 lb swing at the weights. Visor goes back on.
Lequinto (IRE)
Snapped a series of in-frame finishes to record a seventh course success at Windsor last time, doing well to overcome a modest pace in the process, and he looks capable of defying a 3 lb rise.
Tiger Tulip
Won back-to-back 6f handicaps in better company this time last year. Clearly wasn't 100% when well-backed on reappearance but she did at least confirm her well-being when sixth of 11 at Windsor latest.
Glamour Show
Underlined a good start for current yard when a close third in an 8-runner handicap at Southwell in late-April. That form has taken a few knocks but she remains feasibly treated off an unchanged mark.
Strike
Losing run stretches back to July 2024 but he was only bettered by one who had the run of things when a well-backed second of 5 over C&D last time.
Emporess (IRE)
Soft-ground C&D winner who got her conditions for the first time last season when successful at Windsor. Below form on good ground subsequently but the unsettled forecast could bring her into the mix on seasonal reappearance.
Manhattan Mirage (IRE)
Maiden ran his best race for current yard when sixth of 11 at Thirsk (7f, soft) last September and should at least be suited by the refitting of a hood/return to sprinting.
Savannah Smiles (IRE)
Second of 2 wins last year came on heavy ground here but she's offered little in either start this season, latterly in a first-time tongue strap over C&D.
