Timeform View

LIVIO made a positive return from a long absence when third on his Killarney hurdle debut last month and can enhance Willie Mullins' good recent record in this race. Gordon Elliott is another top trainer who is no stranger to success in this maiden hurdle and his bumper winner Lizzie Twig is feared most ahead of last month's Cork third Sestini. Navy Waters is good enough on the Flat to think she could make an impact if taking to hurdling.

Timeform Comments

Anam Geal (IRE)
14/1 and hooded, fifteenth of 16 in bumper at Tipperary (2m, good to soft) on debut last July. Can only watch now hurdling 11 months on.
Ancient Myth (IRE)
Fairly useful Flat winner for David O'Meara but no impact in 2 maiden hurdles for new yard last month.
Coolishael (IRE)
Point recruit who ran to a fair level when third of 13 in bumper (7/1) at this course (2m, good to soft) on Rules debut 24 days ago. Makes hurdles debut. Yard in good form.
Dorie Miller (IRE)
Modest form in bumpers and well held on completed start in maiden hurdles last month. Can only watch.
Glendaars Secret (IRE)
Twice-raced maiden. Sixth of 15 in maiden hurdle at Downpatrick (19f, good to soft, 100/1) 15 days ago but the form is barely modest.
Glengarriff (IRE)
Showed ability on only one of his 5 Flat starts and well held on Thurles hurdle debut in November. Outsider back from another break.
Jodoro (IRE)
Just modest form in bumpers and pulled up on hurdle debut, jumping none too fluently.
Little Ginger (IRE)
Made it third time lucky in bumpers when seeing off 10 rivals at Kilbeggan (19f, good) 22 days ago. The drop back to around 2m isn't sure to help now hurdling but he should have a future in this sphere.
Livio (FR)
Grade 3 bumper winner in France in 2024. Encouraging start over hurdles after 20 months off when third of 12 in maiden at Killarney (2½m, good to soft) last month. The one to beat with improvement likely.
Million Dollar Man (IRE)
Pulled up in a point. 200/1, showed a bit when sixth of 17 in maiden hurdle at Clonmel (2½m, good) on Rules debut but not enough to suggest he'll play a prominent role here.
Mount Mandela (IRE)
Modest maiden hurdler who looks up against it here.
Rattledelatch (IRE)
No promise in bumper and 2 maiden hurdles.
Scotty Joe (IRE)
Point winner. Shaped better than the distance beaten suggests when just under 15 lengths sixth of 16 in maiden at Kilbeggan on hurdle debut. Open to improvement.
Undertheinfluence (IRE)
80/1, eighth of 15 in maiden hurdle (80/1) at Downpatrick (19f, good to soft) on debut 15 days ago, not knocked about. Looks more one for the longer term.
Cometothinkofit (IRE)
No show in maiden hurdles.
Sestini
Fair Flat performer in France and ran to a similar level when third of 14 in juvenile at Cork (17f, good to soft) on hurdle debut 27 days ago. Likely to improve.
Alaskan View (IRE)
Fair bumper winner last summer but never involved switched to hurdles at Tramore last weekend.
Cool As A Cat (IRE)
Well held on completed starts in maiden hurdles this spring.
Jet To Glory (IRE)
Runner-up on second of 2 starts in points (Mar 22). Check the betting now hurdling.
Lizzie Twigg (IRE)
Poet's Word mare who was well backed when making a successful debut in 13-runner bumper at Down Royal (17.5f, good to soft) in March. Only fifth in a Fairyhouse listed bumper 18 days later but still rates an interesting recruit to hurdling for her top stable.
Navy Waters (IRE)
Fairly useful Flat winner. Good fifth of 15 in handicap (5/1) at Cork (1½m, heavy) 34 days ago. Could have a say if taking to her new discipline.
Rosie Brown (IRE)
Modest form at best in bumpers for Peter Maher (beaten 21 lengths when third at Sligo last summer). Best watched now hurdling after 10 months off.
Tiffany Mae (IRE)
Modest Flat maiden. Well beaten on completed start over hurdles last summer. Has left Oliver J. Power ahead of first run for 11 months.
Good Thoughts (IRE)
Minor promise completed start but likely needs more time.
