Timeform View

COLD FISH has shown plenty on both starts and with this step back up in trip sure to see him in a better light, he's fancied to get off the mark. Cherringham is a newcomer who bred to appreciate this trip and could pose the main threat, with Relentless Hero also respected after an improved effort last time.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

This could develop into a sprint for home, and Relentless Hero could be well placed to capitalise: Of the better-fancied horses, Cold Fish is most likely to be ridden furthest from the pace.

Timeform Comments

Ataturk
Golden Horn colt that has finished well beaten on both starts 6 months apart.
Cold Fish (IRE)
No Nay Never colt who hails from an excellent family and stepped up on his sole juvenile start despite being left poorly placed when 1½ lengths third of 9 to Ciarrai Abu in maiden at Goodwood last month. Will be suited by the return to 1¼m and likely to improve further. The one to beat.
Fabled Spirit (IRE)
Phoenix of Spain gelding, who looked very green when eleventh of 12 to Snapback in novice at Leicester on debut. Entitled to build on that.
Liberate (FR)
Muhaarar colt who is a half-brother to 9f winner Chandler's Song and 1m-9.4f winner Woodwind out of a 7f-1m winner. Yard registered 5 winner's last month, though it's likely he'll improve for this initial experience.
Parc Dosne (FR)
€4,000 yearling, €30,000 yearling. Cloth Of Stars gelding. Half-brother to smart 1m-1¼m winner Quai de Bethune. Yard enjoying fine season and well capable of readying one first time up. Market should prove informative.
Probation
Encouragement when in frame in novice events at Wolverhampton in March and Windsor in May, shaping as if in need of stiffer test when 8½ lengths fourth of 13 to Fighter's Spirit on latter occasion.
Relentless Hero
Stepped up on previous efforts when 2¾ lengths fourth of 12 to Snapback in novice at Leicester 12 days ago.
Celestial Cen
€2,000 3-y-o, fifth foal, half-sister to minor US winner by Goldencents. Dam, useful US 2-y-o 5.5f winner, half-sister to very smart US 6f-8.5f (Grade 1) winner Ollie's Candy.
Cherringham
Sixth foal, sister to 1¼m winner Mighty Quiet and half-sister to 2-y-o 7f winner Maurice Dancer and 1m winner Silent City. Dam lightly-raced half-sister to smart 7f-1½m winner Tiffany. Yard is in form and boasts a decent strike rate with newcomers over the past 12 months.
