Plenty to consider here but FOLK PAGEANT is very much going the right way in handicaps over this trip and a 6 lb rise for her latest win may well be within her compass. Hell Yeah He Did is one of the unknown quantities to some extent but along with Starlight Time, is expected to make up into a better 3-y-o.

Timeform Comments

Allegresse
Won back-to-back 1m novices at Kempton in August and September (posted a useful timefigure under aggressive tactics), before coming unstuck in the 1¼m Zetland Stakes at Newmarket on his final start last year. Brushed aside from tough terms on Goodwood reappearance (1m) and now back up in trip.
Lake Como (IRE)
Won novice/handicap on all-weather in December. Sound efforts in defeat on first 2 outings this year but latest seventh of 10 in 1m Newbury handicap was a shade disappointing. Does look worth a go at this trip, at least.
Tailgunner Joe (USA)
Kept busy in Meydan since the turn of the year, landing a big field 1m handicap in February. Subsequent sixth over 9f there a month later was another sound effort but beaten by more than stamina for 1¼m when sixth of 8 in handicap at Newmarket in April. Given a short break.
Starlight Time
Overcame inexperience to land 5-runner 7f maiden on his debut here in July, well on top at the finish. Eighth of 26 in valuable sales race at Newmarket 3 months later before making the most of a good opportunity at Chelmsford upped to 1m. More to come as a 3-y-o for leading stable.
Silver State (IRE)
Much improved since sent handicapping/fitted with a visor, registering comfortable victories at Wolverhampton and Newcastle during the winter before adding further 2 to his tally on turf in April (all around 1m). Sound fifth from revised mark at Haydock and now goes up in distance.
Savvy Disko (IRE)
Displayed ability in a pair of 7f contests in October and much improved when making a successful reappearance at Lingfield 3 weeks ago (1m). Opening mark calls for more trying 1¼m for the first time now handicapping.
Hell Yeah He Did (FR)
Put experience to good use when landing 9-runner maiden at Nottingham (8.5f) in October. Off since but step back up in trip will suit on reappearance/handicap debut and given the stable he represents, there may well be more to come.
Be The Standard (FR)
Placed on first 2 starts prior to opening his account in 11-runner Thirsk novice (1m) in August. Well below that level when fourth on nursery debut at Newcastle (1m) in October and having been gelded ahead of reappearance, he seemed stretched by 12.5f at Chester a month ago. More needed.
Folk Pageant
Landed 1m Lingfield maiden in March and bounced back quickly from a disappointing handicap debut at Southwell with 2 further wins over this sort of trip on turf, staying on well at Chester. 6 lb rise could be lenient with prospect of more to come.
Pendella (IRE)
Made all in 9-runner maiden at Wolverhampton in February and improved form on third handicap start when second at York (1¼m) 2 weeks ago. Nudged up 2 lb but she can remain competitive.
York Tower
Shaped well when runner-up in 7f novices at Yarmouth and Chelmsford last year. Merely matched that level behind Savvy Disko at Lingfield 3 weeks ago but he's certainly in the right hands and on pedigree and run style, 1¼m will suit now handicapping.
