MOJITO DES MOTTES looked unlucky not to collect on handicap debut at Ascot and provided he's in similar form on the back of a short break, can make amends with Harry Cobden taking over. Two Auld Pals is feared most given his course record.

Timeform Comments

Mojito Des Mottes (FR)
A winner on hurdling debut in France, he shaped well on the back of a breathing operation when runner-up on handicap bow at Ascot in late-March, having been left with a lot to do. Harry Cobden should suit his style perfectly and he's fancied to go one better.
Freddy Robinson
Opened his hurdles account on latest start in this sphere at Market Rasen in December. In fine heart in turf handicaps on the Flat since, however, he's pitched into a stronger race on return to hurdling.
Pyramid Place (IRE)
Little sign of a revival in 4 starts for Harriet Dickin last season, proving far too headstrong, and it's hard to be confident on stable debut.
Glory And Honour (IRE)
Finished well held on latest hurdle start over C&D last autumn and he added to a patchy recent record when trailing the field in a Kelso handicap chase latest.
Two Auld Pals (IRE)
Capitalised on a drop in grade in emphatic fashion when landing a second C&D (both on heavy ground) last time, though a 9 lb rise may be enough to prevent a follow up under less testing conditions.
Stay In The Game (IRE)
Knuckled down well to belatedly open his account in a match at Huntingdon last time and while the yard has turned a corner, he's got more on his plate in a stronger race.
Well Educated (IRE)
4-time course winner has fallen a long way in the weights but proved he retained all of his ability when runner-up over 2½m at this track last time. However, did show some reluctance at the start that day and hasn't won for over 2 years.
