Timeform View

PIONEER PETE took his form to a borderline useful level when just failing in a highly-competitive handicap at the Punchestown Festival and sets a good standard back in novice company despite his penalty. Miss Kingston impressed when routing the opposition on her yard debut at Chepstow and must be taken seriously with that performance supported by the timefigure. Molten Sea should also be thereabouts.

Timeform Comments

Pioneer Pete
Justified support in a 2m Wetherby maiden in late March and ran a cracker when second of 24 in a highly competitive Punchestown handicap subsequently. Leading claims under a penalty back in novice company.
Fine Fellow
Looks one for handicaps later on judged on early evidence.
Mayo
Has shaped like a stayer on 2 of his 3 starts in bumpers and is probably one for longer trips in due course.
Miss Kingston (IRE)
Improved appreciably on her Irish form for P. F. McEnery when dominant winner of 12-runner maiden (3/1) at Chepstow (2m, good to firm) in April. The opposition probably amounted to little, but it was still hard not to be impressed with the way she went about things.
Molten Sea
Fairly useful Flat winner (stays 16.5f) for William Haggas who struck at the second time of asking over hurdles in 2m Kempton novice in March. Simply bumped into a better one under a penalty at Chepstow subsequently and likely to remain competitive.
Solo Eclipse
Runner-up on the first of 2 outings in bumpers but was readily put in his place once the race began in earnest switched to hurdling at Uttoxeter 3 weeks ago.
Little Lady Rock (IRE)
Has a stamina-laden pedigree but showed no shortage of speed when runner-up in a trio of bumpers for Ryan Potter last summer and shouldn't be taken lightly on hurdling/stable debut.
Thatsnotmyname
Down the field in bumper/C&D maiden hurdle.
