Timeform View

The lightly-raced OCEAN'S BREATH represents a yard in good nick and can open his account in handicaps if taking up this engagement. Collective Power can build on his last effort from a handy mark, while Nouvel Espoir can finish ahead of I Bid You Ajou in the fight for third.

Timeform Comments

Gerrit's Gem (IRE)
Won over 6f at Cork last September and made frame on final 2 starts that season. Yet to fire in 2 starts this year but takes a marked drop in grade here.
I Bid You Ajou (FR)
Made frame on 3 occasions this season, shaping as if still in good form when fourth of 13 in handicap (3/1) at Listowel (6.3f, good) 7 days ago. Looks sure to go well again.
Ocean's Breath (IRE)
Made the frame on both starts last year and, after 5 months off, justified strong support when comfortably landing 8-runner maiden at Dundalk in April. Easy to excuse his handicap debut at Naas last month and well worth another chance equipped with a tongue tie. Engaged 5.30 Fairyhouse Friday.
Alfred Tennyson (IRE)
Sole success came when blinkered at Limerick last summer. Made the frame twice this season but hasn't looked the most resolute at times. Has a bit to prove at present.
Clonmacash
Has a great record on the all-weather at Dundalk, winning twice there this year already. Below form fifth at same course (5f, 10/1) 12 days ago. Seems summed up by mark at present.
Collective Power (IRE)
Course winner, whose latest success came at Dundalk in November. 13/2, shaped well when second of 12 in handicap at Dundalk (5f) 12 days ago. Back on turf and races from 1 Ib below last winning mark.
Greek Flower (IRE)
Course winner who's on long losing run. Wasn't seen to best effect when sixth of 11 in handicap at Gowran (7f, soft, 9/2) in April after meeting some trouble. Returns to sprinting and may need some luck given her run style.
Jon Riggens (IRE)
Course winner. Thirteen runs since last win in 2024. 4/1, not seen to best effect when seventh of 20 in handicap at the Curragh (6.3f, good to soft) 4 days ago, not ideally placed. Visor back on here.
Aurora Nova (IRE)
A 3-time winner in the first half of 2025. 14/1, creditable fifth of 13 in handicap at Listowel (6.3f, good) 7 days ago. Is well treated at present.
Nouvel Espoir (IRE)
Successful at Cork last summer. 13/2, shaped as if still in good form when third of 10 in handicap here (5f, good to soft) 22 days ago though was left with a lot to do. Course winner who's difficult to win with but has a good record with McMonagle in the saddle.
