DROP DEAD GORGEOUS is better than she showed in the Gallinule Stakes at the Curragh last time and looks the one to beat with sights lowered. Sindria has already won in listed company this season and should go well under a penalty, while La Fogata merits plenty of respect on the back of a promising stable debut.

Timeform Comments

Sindria (IRE)
Impressive winner of a 1m Gowran handicap on return and confirmed that good impression when following up in listed race at the same course (9.5f). Found Group 2 company tougher at the Curragh subsequently, but she's back in calmer waters and can make a bold bid to resume winning ways
Duckadilly (IRE)
Useful filly who (having won first time out in her previous 2 seasons) ran well when 3¾ lengths seventh of 10 in the Cornelscourt Stakes at Leopardstown, and she could be more competitive with sights slightly lowered, with the step back up in trip also expected to suit.
Fast Tara (IRE)
Fairly useful mare confirmed her return to form when third in Naas handicap last time. Blinkers go on for the first time but she's likely to find this step up in class a bridge too far.
Fingerpaint
Debut Curragh winner who finished a promising third in a Group 3 at Tipperary last summer. Forgivable effort on heavy ground at Leopardstown when last seen in October and is worth another chance, provided the ground isn't testing.
Quebec (GER)
Useful performer in Germany for Andreas Suborics who having changed hands for €125,000, has finished well held at long odds on both starts in Group company this season. At least worth a look in the betting on just her third start for current yard, though.
Syzygy
Had looked a progressive handicapper prior to finishing a creditable sixth of 11 on first start over 1¼m at Roscommon. Well worth a go in first-time blinkers on that evidence but likely to be outclassed.
Drop Dead Gorgeous (IRE)
Bred in the purple and settled things in a matter of strides when making a winning debut at Naas before shaping best when third in a Curragh Group 3 since. Probably found the race coming soon enough in the Gallinule last time but she's capable of better and can resume winning ways if back on song.
La Fogata (IRE)
Punchestown maiden winner who improved on first start since leaving Ger Lyons when runner-up in 1¼m listed race at Naas on return. Has shaped as though middle distances may be her optimum, but she still rates a very interesting contender on just her second start for new yard.
Sanctijude (IRE)
Fairly useful filly who belatedly got off the mark in a 9-runner maiden at Gowran, having always been well positioned, but this marked step up in class demands more.
White Sand Beach (USA)
Well-bred filly who has finished well-held on both starts outside of maiden company, latterly on handicap debut at the Curragh, and looks the stable second string.
Yellowstone Lake (FR)
€185,000 Sioux Nation filly who finished fourth in a solid maiden at the Curragh before opening her account at Dundalk (7f) in late-September. Up in grade but she's in very capable hands and could improve for the longer trip.
