Timeform View

Several of these have questions to answer so it could pay to side with MR MILLS, who turned in his best effort for quite some time when runner-up at Dundalk in November and this previous course winner can add to his tally if fully tuned up on return. Deluca Chop has been placed on his last 5 starts and he rates as an obvious threat, while Kevin The Great hasn't shown much on both starts this year, but a yard switch could spark a revival.

Timeform Comments

Proleek Prince (IRE)
Without a win since 2024 and just mid-field on all 3 starts this year. Handicapper eases his grip further but others more appealing.
Desert Friend (IRE)
Snapped a losing run at Dundalk in March and went in again at Sligo (1¾m, good to soft) last month. Wasn't disgraced stepped back up to a staying trip when ninth of 11 at Listowel (2m, good) last week and quickly drops back in distance.
El Regalo (IRE)
Long-standing maiden in both codes, never better than mid-field returned to hurdling in first-time cheekpieces at Kilbeggan (2m, good to soft) last week. Blinkers reapplied for his return to the level.
God The Highness (IRE)
Tailed off at Fairyhouse on hurdling/seasonal debut before not ideally placed back on the level at Navan. Showed more than on hurdling debut when fifth of 18 in maiden at Limerick (2m, soft) 10 days ago and cheekpieces go on for his Flat return.
Kevin The Great (IRE)
Shaped as if the run was needed when sixth of 13 at Navan in March but ran even worse in first-time blinkers at Bellewstown (1m, soft) next time. Significantly upped in trip and needs watching market for clues on first start for new yard (tongue tie applied).
Jazz Forever (IRE)
Little to shout about on the Flat or over hurdles of late so he looks an easy swerve.
Mapa (CAN)
Long-standing maiden but returned to form back on turf after 4 months off when third of 16 at Roscommon (1½m, good to soft) recently. Needs to back that up here.
Spinning Web (IRE)
No form over jumps this year and needs this return to the level to spark a revival.
Maxwell Smart (IRE)
Never looked like winning but shaped as if still in good form when sixth of 14 at Down Royal (2m, good) 9 days ago. Has just the one win to his name but can feature dropped back in trip.
Sarmiento Power (IRE)
Raced exclusively on all-weather for this yard and hasn't cut much ice in 4 starts this year.
Idomything (IRE)
Stepped up on reappearance run when seventh of 16 at Roscommon (1½m, good to soft) just under 3 weeks ago. Handicapper drops her 2 lb and she needs to take another step forward here.
Ethereal Star (IRE)
Ended last year with a good third in 9-runner handicap at Killarney (11.3f) last July. However, she failed to come on for this season's return when ninth of 13 at Gowran (13.7f, soft) in April.
Deluca Chop (FR)
Boasts just one win from 27 Flat runs but placed last 5 starts, most recently when second of 16 at Roscommon (1½m, good to soft) just under 3 weeks ago. Visor replaces usual cheekpieces.
Lariat
On a lengthy losing run and was struck into and found to be lame behind on return from 6 months off in handicap hurdle at Sligo (2½m, good to soft) recently.
Mr Mills (IRE)
Course winner who turned in best effort for quite some time in a first-time tongue strap when second of 14 at Dundalk (1½m) when last seen in November, unlucky to bump into an unexposed filly. Very well treated on old form so looks a big player provided he's ready to roll.
Bang Po (IRE)
On long losing run and has shown precious little this year.
