Timeform View

REVOLUT NED won a point prior to running a good race on his recent handicap debut at Tramore and could be the way to go off the same mark. Jouster, Kilashee (good record here) and Made U Look are a trio of others to consider.

Timeform Comments

The Rebel County (IRE)
Won novice hunter at Tipperary under this rider early last season and ran one of his better races in handicaps when fourth in first-time cheekpieces at Tramore recently. Not out of things if building on it.
Cavalry Master (IRE)
One-time useful chaser but form has gone the wrong way, although had excuses in the La Touche Cup latest (saddle slipped and unseated).
Jouster (FR)
Has been in good form at this low level, hitting the frame again when third at Tramore (The Rebel County fourth) 9 days ago. Mark eased another 2 lb and he's considered in new headgear combination.
Ballagh Star (IRE)
Dual winner over fences at Sligo and he should strip fitter for his first run since late-November over hurdles at Punchestown 4 weeks ago.
Kilkee Bay (IRE)
Fair maiden hurdler for Gordon Elliott, but below that level for current yard, including on first completed start over fences at Limerick last time. Change of headgear.
Made U Look (IRE)
Shaped better than the distance beaten suggests in Thurles hunter in January and successful in a point 6 weeks ago. One to consider on handicap debut.
Stormy Master (IRE)
Good record at Wexford in recent times and returned with a creditable effort after 8 months off when third at Limerick off this mark 3 weeks ago. No banker to build on that.
Kilashee (IRE)
Won over hurdles at Galway last autumn. Wasn't in much form over fences when last seen but goes well here and returns from 6 months off with stable in form.
Revolut Ned (IRE)
Successful again in a point prior to a good run on handicap debut at Tramore 9 days ago, keeping on despite not being ideally placed. Respected off the same mark.
Ta Se Rua
Successful in Tramore hunter in April 2025 and shaped as if retaining ability bidding to win that race for the second year in succession 7 weeks ago. Little impact in 2 handicaps previously.
Global Assembly
Maiden hurdler/chaser out of sorts when last seen under Rules in Britain and well beaten by Revolut Ned in a point 3 weeks ago.
Bohemian Bay (IRE)
Maiden pointer/hurdler well beaten in handicap at Wexford 3 weeks ago. Could do better now going chasing up in trip.
Silent Flight (IRE)
Sole success came in 2½m Punchestown handicap hurdle in January 2024. Has struggled since, just mid-field back from 11 months off there 4 weeks ago, and his best efforts have come under testing conditions. Bit to prove back chasing.
Ballingurteen (IRE)
Has run well in handicap hurdles the last twice, no extra only near finish at Clonmel latest. Worth a look now going chasing back up in trip under in-form rider.
Rideau Canal (IRE)
Handicap chase winner at Thurles in February but no impact in 2 runs since (over hurdles at Punchestown latest).
Finnicky Filly (IRE)
Sole victory came in handicap hurdle at Clonmel (2m) in December last year. Enjoying a rare bout of consistency, not seen to best effect in Limerick handicap chase before plugging on for sixth in Kilbeggan handicap hurdle 8 days ago. Stamina to prove.
Annie Questions (IRE)
Maiden hurdler/chaser not in much form when last seen under Rules in summer 2025 but won a point 5 weeks ago. RESERVE.
Robin Elite (IRE)
Winning pointer but out of form in that sphere and not shown anything under Rules for a long time. RESERVE.
Eddies Pride (IRE)
Poor strike rate (latest win came in 2024) and well beaten again on recent return at Limerick. RESERVE.
