Timeform View

PEARL has forced connections to be patient, but she produced a promising first effort when third at York recently and with improvement on the cards, Ralph Beckett's 4-y-o gets the nod to score second time up. Heading up the dangers is Marhayb, who showed plenty without being clued up enough to justify her strength in the betting at Newcastle on debut. Foxy Night can edge out Always Blue for third.

Timeform Comments

Fair Isle Sioux
Sioux Nation filly who hinted at ability when fifth of 7 in novice at Redcar (6f, soft) on debut in May 2024. Can only be watched after such an absence.
Pearl (FR)
Le Havre filly who produced a promising first effort when third of 7 in novice at York (1m, good) on debut last month, running on. Will improve with that initial effort under her belt.
Stolen Kisses (IRE)
Dark Angel filly. Sister to 1m winner Cult Figure and half-sister to 9f winner Givemehoperosa. Dam, 1m-9.4f winner, half-sister to useful 2-y-o 6f/7f winner Bible Black. Market check needed on belated debut.
Always Blue
Masar filly who made a bright start to her career when length second of 7 in maiden at Ripon (1¼m, good) in April. Still green but showed up quite well again when fifth of 7 in novice at York (1m, good) last month (hooded) and she remains with potential.
Foxy Night (IRE)
Night of Thunder filly who offered something to work on when fourth of 10 in novice at Kempton (7f) on debut 12 days ago. Open to improvement upped in trip (will stay 1m).
Marhayb
Dark Angel filly who showed plenty to work on without being clued up enough to justify her strength in the betting when fifth of 10 in novice at Newcastle (7f) on debut last month. Will improve with that behind her.
Midnight Serenade
Twilight Son filly. Half-sister to 6.7f-1m winner Willy Il Coyote and 5f/6f winner Earn Your Stripes. Dam, 1½m winner, half-sister to 1m-1¼m winner Terre Neuve and winner up to 8.5f Lilbourne Eliza (both useful).
