Timeform View

Placed twice in handicaps last summer, SHELBOURNE FLYER starts off for Noel Meade on a workable mark so he's worth a chance as he makes his seasonal return. He gets the vote ahead of Imnotleavinyou, who shaped encouragingly on her first 3 starts of the campaign, with Verhoyen completing the shortlist.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Imnotleavinyou traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on 3 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

James Henry (IRE)
Form was in and out for Mark Fahey in 2025, but ran respectably on seasonal/stable debut when third of 15 in handicap at Listowel 10 days ago. Task is now to build on latest effort.
Racing Royalty
Ran well when third at Galway in September but ended the season on a low-key note when well held at Roscommon the following month. Has 8-month absence to overcome if he's to end his long losing run.
Verhoyen
Ran better than for a while when making the frame over 1m at Gowran in May and backed that up when sixth in 18-runner event at Fairyhouse (6f) 13 days ago. One to note having eased further in the weights.
Shelbourne Flyer (IRE)
Remains a maiden but went close when second in 18-runner handicap at Leopardstown last summer. Lesser efforts final 2 starts of the campaign, though he's on a potentially lenient mark as he makes first start since leaving John McConnell. Interesting contender.
Linger For Longer (IRE)
Without a win last year but stepped up on this season's reappearance run when fourth of 15 in handicap at Listowel 10 days ago, ½ length behind James Henry. More needed if she's to capitalise on reduced mark.
Jazzy Dancer (IRE)
Returned to winning ways when making all at Dundalk (7f) in February and, having had excuses penultimate start, got back on track after 9-week break when 3 lengths seventh of 18 at Fairyhouse (6f) 13 days ago.
Carvalhal (IRE)
Remains with only the sole victory back in August 2024 for previous trainer. Placed 3 times last summer but ended the year out of form, though after 6 months off he possibly needed the run when well held at Gowran (1m) 5 weeks ago.
Oxford Circus (IRE)
Maiden winner at Dundalk (6f) in February but hasn't kicked on from that effort since, twelfth of 18 in handicap at Fairyhouse (6f) on latest outing 13 days ago. Has been given a chance by the handicapper, though.
Imnotleavinyou (IRE)
Showed improved form when runner-up first 3 starts this season. Found run of good form coming to a halt at Down Royal 12 days ago, but no surprise to see her bounce back given her previous promise.
Lorr's Girl (IRE)
Not the most straightforward but made the frame 3 times last season. Below form final 2 outings of the year and finished down the field at Killarney (1m) last month on return.
Bright Image (IRE)
Remains a maiden and after an absence of over 2 years he offered little when twelfth of 16 in handicap at Gowran (1m) 3 weeks ago. Has plenty to prove.
Half Nutz (IRE)
Losing run continues to mount up and he's not the easiest to catch right nowadays, though met trouble in running when fifth of 16 in handicap at Gowran (1m) 9 days ago. Has a basement mark to work from if on a going day.
Beau Army (IRE)
Back-to-back 7f winner at Dundalk in November/January. Form has been mixed since but has made the frame 2 of last 3 starts, leaving behind a poor run when fourth of 14 at Down Royal 12 days ago. Has something to find from 1 lb out of the weights.
She's On The Ball (IRE)
Little impact in a trio of maidens (trained by Clive Cox on debut) and didn't manage to find any improvement sent handicapping when eleventh of 18 at Cork (1m) in April.
