Timeform View

GUADALEVIN shaped well when thundering home for a close third on her Southwell debut 3 weeks ago and is the percentage call, although a strong market move for Andrew Balding debutante Pequenita would put a slightly different slant on things. Dark Reign and Lady Caroline are other newcomers to keep a close eye on in the betting.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Rosevannion could be expected to race prominently. Of those in the front half of the betting forecast, Guadalevin might be well positioned in a slowly run affair: Of the better-fancied horses, Sunset Script is most likely to be ridden furthest from the pace.

Timeform Comments

Agent Rose (IRE)
Foaled March 6. 90,000 gns breeze-up purchase. Churchill half-sister to several winners, including useful 2-y-o 1m winner Mystical Dawn and 2-y-o 7f winner Tamam Desert. Dam 8.3f-1¼m winner who stayed 1½m. Stable not really known for first-time 2-y-o success but still worth a betting check.
Dark Reign (IRE)
Foaled March 20. Dark Angel filly and the first foal of a mare from a good family. Would enter the reckoning if the market speaks in her favour.
Guadalevin (IRE)
Promising start to her career when third of 6 in maiden at Southwell (7f) on debut 20 days ago, finishing strongly from a poor position. Should have more to offer.
Lady Caroline Lamb
Foaled February 1. Study of Man sister to 2-y-o 1m winner Magic Trip. Would need considering if the betting vibes are strong.
Pequenita
Foaled March 22. Dubawi filly. Dam, French 1m (Group 2)-11f winner, sister to very smart 1½m-1¾m winner (stayed 2½m) Master of Reality. Likely type for top stable.
Rosevannion
14/1, offered something to work on when fourth of 6 in novice at Wolverhampton (7f) on debut 12 days ago. May do better.
Sunset Script (IRE)
Foaled January 13. New Bay filly. Dam, unraced, closely related to smart 7f-1¼m winner Sheikha Reika out of smart 2-y-o 7f winner Screen Star. The yard does get first-time-out 2-y-o winners.
Virtue Charity
40/1, in need of experience when 10 lengths sixth of 9 in maiden at Goodwood (6f, good to firm) on debut 18 days ago, getting the hang of things late. Open to progress.
Woodhay Wayfarer (IRE)
28/1, eighth of 12 in maiden at Windsor (6f, good to firm) on debut 18 days ago. Needs to have come on a lot.
