ONLY ONE SCOBIE is still well treated under a 7-lb penalty and is taken to follow up last week's course victory, for all he's likely to face competition for the lead this time. Charming Whisper and Free Solo have fallen to handy marks and both make each-way appeal in a very competitive event, while Dinamine needs considering if taking up the engagement.

Timeform Comments

Loingseoir (IRE)
Winner over 7f at the Curragh last October and he shaped as though back in form when fourth of 10 in a higher grade C&D handicap last time, when left with a lot to do. Very much the type that needs things to fall right, though the likely strong pace should suit here.
Shoot To Kill (IRE)
Backed up his previous effort when making a bold bid from the front to finish second of 14 at Down Royal last time and he should remain competitive off an unchanged mark.
Meriden
Low-mileage 3-y-o who made short work of a 7 lb penalty for her Down Royal success when readily following up at the Curragh 8 days ago, and while clearly on the up, a 14 lb rise may just prevent a hat-trick.
Charming Whisper
5-time winner who hasn't kicked on from a promising stable debut at Dundalk last winter, though he's fallen to a tempting mark as a result and looks interesting, especially if supported.
Free Solo (IRE)
Runner-up in this race 12 months ago. He's been more miss than hit in 4 starts this year, however, though is 4 lb lower than last year and could well be worth another chance.
Are You In Or Out (IRE)
Enhanced her good record fresh when making a winning stable debut on reappearance at Fairyhouse (6f), proving at least as good as ever, and she's 1-1 over C&D in handicaps.
Minaun View
Still a maiden after 16 starts, she wasn't beaten far when sixth of 14 in a handicap at Down Royal on her latest start and cannot be totally discounted off a falling mark.
Tawaazon (IRE)
Now 3 lb lower than when successful in a 6f handicap at Naas last May, but he was too free to see out his race when fourth of 10 on return from 10 months off at Fairyhouse.
Green Kite (IRE)
Standout effort when runner-up in a 1m Killarney maiden last autumn. Didn't build on his return when fourth of 7 in a Gowran claimer last time but is still lightly raced and has Colin Keane taking over.
Fortuity (IRE)
Improving sort who went one better than on her previous start when getting off the mark at Fairyhouse (7f, good) last time, showing plenty of enthusiasm in front, though is likely to face competition for the lead on this occasion.
Racing Royalty
Hasn't won since landing a 7f double on soft ground in the autumn of 2023 and never looked like justifying support when down the field at Roscommon last October. Engaged 7.20 Limerick Wednesday.
Only One Scobie (IRE)
Proved an entirely different proposition under a change of tactics when easily winning a 1m handicap here 7 days ago, relishing the testing conditions, and still looks well in under a penalty (due to race off 7 lb higher in future).
Dinamine (IRE)
Beat a couple of subsequent winners when doubling his tally at Bellewstown (1m) on final start last summer and following a pipe-opener over an inadequate trip, he's entitled to be firmly in the mix over a well-run 7f. Engaged 7.50 Limerick Wednesday.
Sayfa Fad (IRE)
Winner in a lower grade at Bellewstown last August but again struggled off a higher mark when trailing the field at Cork the following month.
Zheleznaya Dama (USA)
Gambled on when showing much-improved form on handicap debut last September, finishing third of 14 in a Down Royal nursery from a less-than-ideal draw, and needs another close look in the market on her return.
Lar Na Coille (IRE)
Showed a bit in 6f maidens last year before likely needing the outing on qualifying run at the Curragh in April, and despite being 6 lb out of the weights, she could well make more impact now handicapping over a longer trip.
