Timeform View

A potentially warm 2-y-o maiden for the track. WILBUR shaped with notable promise when fourth at Newbury on his debut last month and seems sure to improve for the extra 1f, so he looks the percentage call. Collateral Damage and Rogue Passion are a pair of interesting newcomers however, and strong market support for either would put a slightly different slant on matters.

Timeform Comments

Collateral Damage (IRE)
Foaled March 2. 270,000 gns foal, Too Darn Hot colt. Dam, 1m winner, half-sister to winner up to 1¼m Island Hideaway. Of obvious interest on debut given connections.
Leave The Bag In (IRE)
Green in the preliminaries before keeping on well to finish eighth of 15 in a valuable York novice (6f) on debut. Failed to progress upped in trip (7f) at Thirsk since and possibly more one for nurseries after this run.
Sou'wester
Just minor promise on both starts to date and will be likely be of more interest in nurseries in due course.
Wilbur
€160,000 yearling, Kingman colt. Dam, 2-y-o 1m winner, half-sister to smart 1½m-1¾m winner (stayed 2¼m) Biographer. Produced a promising first effort when fourth in 10-runner maiden at Newbury (6f) on debut last month, nearest finish. Sure to improve, especially over this 1f longer trip.
Rogue Passion (IRE)
Foaled February 27. €90,000 yearling, Sioux Nation filly. Dam, 7.6f-10.3f winner, closely related to smart 11f-2m winner Face The Facts. Appealing newcomer for good yard.
