SIXPACK is in good form and makes most appeal in this small-field handicap, with last year's C&D winner Lightning Tiger the pick to complete the forecast.

Timeform Comments

Military Air
Useful performer when trained in France by Henri-Francois Devin. Yet to make an impact in 2 starts in Britain, shaping as if amiss at Hamilton on latest outing last month. Has the hood left off and market may be best guide.
Robert Johnson
Course winner who proved as good as ever when successful in Cesarewitch Trial (18f) for his previous yard at Newmarket in September. Ran well on reappearance when third at Newbury (16.5f, good) in April. Is having first start for Grant Tuer and looks well treated down in grade.
Baileys Khelstar (FR)
Won twice in spring-2024 but missed the following year. Runner-up twice from 4 starts this season, latest in handicap at Newbury (2m, firm, 18/1) 10 days ago. Remains to be seen if he can back that up.
Sixpack
Has been in good form this season, breaking his duck for this thriving yard when winning handicap at Doncaster last month. Good third in a similar event at Goodwood (1½m, good to soft) 6 days ago and looks sure to go well again.
Lightning Tiger (IRE)
Sole success came on handicap debut at this course in October and has made the frame all 3 starts since, latest at Lingfield (1½m) last month when fitted with a first-time hood. Steps back up in trip and reunited with Rodriguez who was in the saddle for previous success.
Gibside
C&D winner. Yet to fully fire this season, though hasn't shaped as badly as his placing suggests on last 2 starts. Down in grade here and any market support should be noted.
