Timeform View

A strongly-run race looks in store and it could set up perfectly for HABRDI who arrives on the back of a couple of good efforts. We may not have yet seen the best of Uppercase and he can chase the selection home, while course specialist Vince Le Prince is also one to note.

Timeform Comments

Uppercase
Fairly useful maiden who stepped up markedly on Pontefract reappearance run when third at Yarmouth (7f, good) 22 days ago. Has few miles on the clock and has been given further respite from the handicapper.
Tattie Bogle
Gained reward for several good efforts when narrow winner at Musselburgh in April. Easy to forgive next run and placed last 2 starts at Ayr and Lingfield. May prove vulnerable for win purposes.
Vince Le Prince
A 3-time course winner who was also runner-up here on first 2 starts this year before following up with a couple of below-par efforts. Is on an attractive mark so no surprise if he bounces back at this course.
In A Hurry
Winner of 7f maiden at Thirsk last June. Placed in handicaps on her next 2 outings but ended 2025 with a couple of below-par efforts and hasn't kicked on yet this season. She's dropping down the weights and has Tudhope back in the saddle.
Qazaq (FR)
Has dropped a long way in the weights and was perhaps unlucky not to end losing run at Musselburgh in April. Did too much too soon when fourth at Ayr last month. Market likely best guide.
Pouting
Fair maiden who was placed on several occasions for Richard Hughes. Tailed-off last on yard debut at Ayr when last seen in August. Best watched on return.
Imperial Guard (IRE)
Yet to win a handicap and tumbled a long way in the weights as a result. In first-time visor, eighth of 10 in handicap at Thirsk 6 days ago, going off too hard. Has the visor discarded on return to 7f.
Habrdi (IRE)
Ended a long losing sequence at Wolverhampton in March and put a couple of below-par efforts behind him when placed on last 2 starts at Ayr. Needs things to drop right but may get an ideal pace set up here.
Jenni (IRE)
Scored at Musselburgh last spring but has struggled since. She's now 8 Ib lower in the weights but is hard to make a case for at present.
Coconut Bay
3-time C&D winner, who's failed to repeat her third-placed finish at Ayr in May. Steps back up in trip but she's unlikely to get her own way in front and is likely to prove vulnerable just 3 days on from her latest run.
