Timeform View

UPPER HENDERSYDE is taken to build on the promise of his recent Salisbury debut second. Nevasca Cinza gets cheekpieces fitted after fluffing his lines when odds on over C&D last time and is taken to bounce back and provide the chief threat ahead of the returning Anyasi.

Timeform Comments

Anyasi
14/1, showed promise amidst inexperience when third of 6 in novice at Leicester (7f, firm) on debut last August. Open to improvement on return for his leading stable.
Court Alert (IRE)
Fairly useful effort when second in 20-runner valuable sales contest at Newmarket (6f, good to firm) last summer but it's a bit of a stand-out effort so far, returning with a disappointing effort over 7f at Leicester in April. Has had a breathing operation since.
Debrief
Twice-raced maiden. Remote fourth on C&D debut last autumn and achieved more when mid-field over 7f at Newbury 7 months later. Drops back in trip for third start. Might be more one for handicaps after this.
George Wickham (IRE)
12/1, last of 7 in maiden at Bath (5.7f, firm) on debut last August. Can only watch on return.
Nevasca Cinza
Fairly useful form (trained last year by Lucinda Russell & Michael Scudamore). Shaped well for new yard when fourth of 13 in 6f Leicester novice on return in April. A subsequent short-priced defeat over C&D dents confidence but he's still likely to have a big say in new cheekpieces.
Rogue Federation (IRE)
45,000 gns Dark Angel gelding. Half-brother to several winners, including 6f winner Summer Daydream and 8.6f winner Cityzen Serg. Dam maiden (stayed 7f). Newcomer from an excellent yard. Would enter the reckoning if the betting suggests he's fancied.
Upper Hendersyde
220,000 gns Havana Grey gelding who showed plenty to work on when second of 12 in maiden at Salisbury (6f, good to soft) 19 days ago. The one to beat with improvement on the cards.
Yazoo
£50,000 Zoustar gelding. Dam, 5f-6f winner (including at 2 yrs), closely related to smart winner up to 1m Zurigha. Check the betting with this newcomer.
Red Legs
40/1, eighth of 10 in novice at Windsor (6f, good to firm) on debut 10 days ago.
Unique Procedure
Well held in maidens at Nottingham and over C&D this spring. Outsider.
