MAXIMUM OFFERS is selected to defy the handicapper and stretch his unbeaten chase record to 3 in a race where the majoritry of his rivals arrive with something to prove. King Roly and Okavango Delta might be the pair to give him most to do.

Timeform Comments

Hurricane Bay
Unreliable type but capitalised on a falling mark in 5-runner handicap chase at Huntingdon (2½m, good to soft) last month. No big surprise when he failed to back it up at Fakenham since, though.
King Roly
Took well to chasing in first half of last season, winning 3 times. Below par in 2 comeback outings this spring but latest Stratford run was too bad to be true and he is on a good mark if returning to form.
Fringill Dike (IRE)
Useful at best but has struggled since finishing second at Bangor at a similar time last year, with his jumping becoming increasingly erratic.
Maximum Offers (IRE)
Has won a pair of 25f Hereford handicaps (both good ground) switched to fences this spring. Made all with something to spare last time and a further 5 lb rise may not prevent the hat-trick.
Doyouknowwhatimean
Unreliable sort who has pulled up on 4 of his last 5 outings. Now 5 lb below the mark he defied at the start of last season but has too much to prove.
Okavango Delta (IRE)
Winner at Worcester (2½m, good to soft) just over a year ago. Also good second at Musselburgh (2m) in November. Looked rusty on last month's return from a break at Stratford but given a chance by the handicapper if staging a revival.
Wudya (IRE)
Scored on debut for this yard over hurdles at Bangor last July. Off 8 months, possibly needed the run when 20 lengths fourth on chase debut there (2½m, good) 3 weeks ago.
