Timeform View

EVERATEASE has improved with each run and looked a progressive sort when winning a competitive 12-runner Chester seller 13 days ago. He should have more to offer and can follow up. Tamam Star left the impression he's ready for this step up to 6f at Carlisle and is feared most, whilst Undercover Affair finished runner-up to the selection at Chester.

Timeform Comments

Everatease
Benefited from step up to 6f when winning 12-runner seller at Chester 13 days ago, leading home the reopposing Undercover Affair and Furturra, who have both landed similar races since. Sets the standard on that form and, with the prospect of more to come, he can make a bold bid.
Furturra
Posted a couple of placed efforts, one behind Everatease at Chester, before winning a 7-runner selling event at Musselburgh 6 days ago. Step back up to 6f shouldn't be an issue but something to find with Everatease off same terms.
Undercover Affair (IRE)
Chased home Everatease at Chester before going one better in a small-field seller at Goodwood 5 days ago, again not looking entirely straightforward but knuckling down well in the end to deny a decent yardstick. Claims on that performance.
Court Legend
Foaled February 2. £20,000 yearling. Brother to 6f (including at 2 yrs) winner Kapparis Kid, closely related to 5f-6f winner Beneficiary (by Profitable) and half-brother to winner up to 9.5f Locked N' Loaded (by Morpheus). Dam maiden (stayed 9.5f). Yard 0 from 6 this season with 2-y-o debutants.
Enemy Action (IRE)
Very green when sixth in maiden at Beverley 39 days ago, slowly into stride and getting the hang of things only late on. Step up to 6f shouldn't be an issue and no surprise were he to step up with that experience under his belt.
Explainingislosing
Cheap purchase who has looked to be learning on the job, making the frame when third at Musselburgh (5f) on second start. Effort behind several of these last time is easily excused due to poor draw but he'll need to step up markedly on what he's shown to date to feature.
Hey Up Ronnie
Foaled April 10. 10,000 gns foal, €4,000 yearling. Ubettabelieveit gelding. Half-brother to 1½m winner Decanter and 2-y-o 5f winner Zebelle. Dam unraced half-sister to smart/temperamental 2-y-o 5.5f/6f winner Grand Vista. Yard's juveniles tend to improve for debut.
Jimmy You Mushroom (IRE)
Is bred to be sharp but has gone with no encouragement in a Beverley maiden and claimer to date. Now tries 6f with first-time cheekpieces applied.
Martial Order (IRE)
A likely sort on paper but has gone with zero promise on both outings. Sold for just 4,000gns since last seen and hard to make a case for.
Mick's The Boy (IRE)
Foaled March 26. 3,000 gns yearling, Coulsty gelding. Half-brother to 2-y-o 5f-7f winner Gray's Inn. Dam unraced half-sister to very smart winner up to 1m (stayed 1¼m) Diamond Green. Yard has an uninspiring record with its 2-y-o debutants this season.
Tamam Star (IRE)
In frame on all 3 starts, posting best effort when 2½ lengths third of 7 in 5f novice at Carlisle on latest. Will be suited by this step up to 6f and is very high on the shortlist now tackling a seller.
Turnstile
Has finished in the frame on 4 of his 5 starts, returning to form despite meeting trouble when 1¼ lengths third of 7 to Furturra in seller at Musselburgh 6 days ago. Place claims once again.
Baila Morena
Bred to make a speedy 2-y-o and stepped up on debut effort when 4¼ lengths fourth of 15 in 6f maiden at Redcar last month. This requires another step up, but rates one of her yard's better chances of landing this race for the fourth year in a row.
Lady Dublin
Promise when in frame in 5f novice and maiden at Beverley, looking a tad one paced when 3 lengths fourth on latter occasion in May. Step up to 6f likely to suit.
State Of Gold (IRE)
Green when down the field in novice events at Redcar and Carlisle. Unlikely to be of much interest unless market states otherwise.
