EM FOUR is reliable on the whole and gets the vote to resume winning ways. Betties Bay is unlikely to be inconvenienced by the drop in trip and should be on the premises, while Marching Mac can make his presence felt, particularly if the rain comes.

Timeform Comments

Em Four
Consistent sort who notched his third success of the year at Wolverhampton in April before running another solid race behind a subsequent winner at Salisbury next time. Below-par effort at Chepstow last month but is the type to bounce back quickly.
Nogo's Dream
Runner-up at Nottingham in April and wasn't beaten far when fifth at Goodwood 21 days ago. His quirks are well established, though, and his reliability is a concern so he's not certain to give his running from what is otherwise a handy enough mark.
Marching Mac (IRE)
Won in soft conditions at Bath and Leicester in October. Good third of 6 in handicap at Windsor (5f, good to soft, 9/2) 4 days ago from 3 Ib out of the weights. Has dropped below last winning mark and any rain would be welcome.
Betties Bay
Yet another to be transformed by the switch to James Owen, completing a 4-timer back on turf at Catterick (6f, good) last month after missing 2025. Best effort when second at Doncaster (6f, firm, 13/2) 7 days ago. Drops to 5f for just the second time and has to be high on the shortlist.
Cayman Tai (IRE)
Placed on several occasions this year before doubling his career tally with a 4-length success in 10-runner event at Southwell in May. Looked well-in under a penalty when neck second of 5 at Chepstow (5f, good to firm, 5/6) 14 days ago.
Carbine Harvester (FR)
Eleven runs since last win in 2025. Has yet to fully fire this season, even for a breathing operation prior to penultimate start. Has the tongue strap back on though is yet to prove as good on turf.
Kiss And Run
Finished last season in fine heart and duly returned to form on the back of her reappearance effort when neck second to Lequinto at Windsor (5f, good to firm) last month, though did rather help the winner by hanging off the rail. May prove vulnerable after a further 2 Ib rise.
Lequinto (IRE)
C&D winner. Shade fortunate when beating Kiss And Run at Windsor in May. Shaped better than bare result when third of 10 in handicap (5/1) at Bath (5.7f, good to firm) 7 days ago. Has to enter calculations back at a bare 5f.
Fantasy Master
Won on final 2025 start at Chelmsford in December. Creditable third of 18 in handicap at Ascot (6f, good to firm, 18/1) on reappearance last month. Remains well treated on old form and merits consideration.
