Timeform View

NOBLE HORIZON was a wide-margin winner at Leicester on Monday and a repeat of that performance would make him the one to beat under a penalty. Dual C&D winner Dangerman is feared most ahead of Alcarath.

Timeform Comments

Al Aali (FR)
Runner-up in a Chantilly Group 3 last year when trained by Mlle L. Pontoir but no impact in 2 handicaps this winter for Fawzi Nass. Left poorly placed both starts for this yard but mark is coming down.
Boyfriend
Better than ever when winning over 1m here on second start back 2 weeks ago and worth a try at this longer trip.
Greek Order
Without a win since 2023 but hit the frame in 3 top-end handicaps (including Royal Hunt Cup) before losing his way towards the end of last year. Too free in Lincoln on return but disappointed next 2 starts.
Mustazeed (IRE)
Unreliable sort who refused to race on final start of last season and always behind both starts this campaign.
Noble Horizon
Consistent form for William Haggas last year and left yard debut/return well behind when making all at Leicester by a wide margin on Monday, showing much-improved form in the process. Obvious claims under a penalty.
Sweet Reward (IRE)
Veteran who arrives here at the top of his game after 2 wins at Lingfield on the turf but hat-trick probably beyond him back up in class.
Alcarath (IRE)
Got off mark in emphatic fashion in 1¼m Epsom novice in September. Unable to match that form since but stepped up on his return when fourth at Newbury 4 weeks ago. Probably has more to offer in handicaps.
Dangerman
Developed into a useful performer since fitted with blinkers last summer, winning back-to-back over C&D by wide margins. Excuses at Epsom on return and better expected now returned to this venue.
Whitcombe Rockstar
Arrives at the top of his game having made a bold bid for the hat-trick at Kempton in March. Not as good on turf but lower mark reflects that.
Samuel Colt (IRE)
Useful for Aidan O'Brien but has looked a shadow of that horse for current connections.
Galyx (IRE)
Dual winner in 2024 but lightly raced last season, posting his best effort when third at Carlisle. Looked fully tuned up after an 11-month absence at York 30 days ago but stopped quickly as if amiss.
Bella's Path (FR)
Exceeded expectations on debut and confirmed that promise when winning maiden at Kempton in September. Disappointed under a penalty at Yarmouth following month and off since (has left Paul Attwater). Opening mark is a stiff one but longer distance will suit.
Carnival Day (IRE)
All 3 wins over 1¼m and shaped well over 1m at Epsom on return. Can build on that back at his optimum trip.
Foreseen
Recorded his fourth win since the autumn when making all back on the turf at Lingfield 5 weeks ago but return to further here is a concern given his free-going nature.
Tipsy Tiger
C&D winner but failed to score last season and mark remains high enough on return.
Mythical Bird (IRE)
Advanced her form when comfortably getting off the mark at Lingfield on reappearance and backed that up returned to turf when third at Leicester 18 days ago.
Baltic Voyage
Winner of a soft-ground Ripon handicap for Ralph Beckett in 2023 but little to shout about since.
