MOHAARAJ continued his theme of race-by-race progress when following up his Kempton maiden victory on handicap debut at Haydock 5 weeks ago and, appealing as the type to go on improving, he looks an obvious player now his stamina is tested further. There is plenty of depth to this handicap though, with recent course winner Law Court and Arbaawy others fancied to be on the premises too.

Improving son of Blue Point who confirmed promise of his Newbury handicap debut second and ran to a borderline useful level when scoring over 1m here 16 days ago, by 1½ lengths from The Joker. Rates a player again on the back of a 4 lb rise.

Confirmed debut promise when winning 8-runner 1m maiden at Kempton in February and further progress when making a winning handicap debut at Haydock (1m) last month, edging ahead final 1f and keeping on well. Looks to have plenty about him physically and of interest upped in trip.
Quartermaster (IRE)
Sea The Moon colt who made a winning start with something to spare at Chelmsford (7f) in December. Hooded for return (retained), his inexperience was still evident when fourth under a penalty at Newmarket (1m) 4 weeks ago and he remains with potential now handicapping. NON RUNNER.
The Joker (FR)
Fairly useful colt who is running consistently well, finding only re-opposing Law Court too strong over 1m here 16 days ago. Meets that rival on 3 lb better terms but he looks to lack the same potential as a couple now going back up in trip.
Loblolly (IRE)
Won a 7f all-weather maiden at Lingfield last September and much sharper for his reappearance run at Lingfield when a running on third behind Law Court over 1m here 16 days ago. Step up in trip looks a good move on that evidence.
Arbaawy
Consistent rather than progressive as a 2-y-o but better efforts switched to handicaps this spring, fitted with cheekpieces when third of 10 at Newbury (1m) 4 weeks ago. Increase in trip looks worth exploring on balance and he's another holding claims.
