Timeform View

GETAWAY TOBIN left a low-key debut well behind when fourth in a 10-runner bumper at Kilbeggan recently and looks the one to beat on that form, especially with the stiff nature of this track expected to suit a stayer in the making. Loman Lady is of interest having joined the Skeltons after finishing runner-up on her final outing in Irish points, while Ebchester can prove best of the rest.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

The pace doesn’t look like being overly strong here and Getaway Tobin should still be served best by being ridden prominently: The forecast decent pace still isn’t likely to sway the advantage towards those usually ridden further back such as is Loman Lady.

Timeform Comments

Ebchester (IRE)
Ocovango gelding. Dam ran once over hurdles/once in bumper. Hinted at ability when fourth in 6-runner bumper at Kelso (2m) on debut last month and this stiffer track ought to suit better.
John Wemmick
Golden Horn gelding. Half-brother to 4 winners on Flat, including smart 6f-1¼m winner Ode To Evening. Dam, 7f-1¼m winner, including Brazilian 1000 Guineas/Oaks. Has a good Flat pedigree and worth a precautionary check in the betting.
River Ore
Blue Point half-brother to 6f winner abroad Atmospheric. Displayed some ability when 12 lengths fourth of 11 in 17f Killarney bumper on debut but couldn't even match that form at Plumpton 18 days ago.
Budworth Boy
Falco gelding. Dam, 11.2f winner in France, half-sister to very smart hurdler/smart chaser (stayed 2½m) Master Dino and useful 2¼m hurdle winner Master d'Oc. Showed a bit when fourth of 6 in bumper at Kelso on debut in early April but needs a sizeable step forward.
Finjimk (IRE)
Sumbal gelding. Half-brother to fairly useful 19f hurdle winner Tommys Charm. Has failed to complete both starts in Irish points, including when pulled up latest (May 24).
Author Dora (TUR)
€25,000 3-y-o, Authorized mare. Dam 5f-7.5f winner in Turkey. Stamina isn't assured on breeding but is in good hands nonetheless.
Getaway Tobin (IRE)
€60,000 Getaway mare. Half-sister to smart hurdler/top-class chaser Monkfish. Made no impact in a bumper at the Punchestown Festival on debut but left that form behind with her sights lowered when fourth of 10 in 2m event at Kilbeggan just under a fortnight ago. Leading contender.
Loman Lady
Dragon Dancer mare. Dam (h94), winning pointer/maiden under Rules who stayed 3m, half-sister to bumper winner/useful hurdler (2m-2½m winner) As I Am. £10,000 buy after finishing runner-up on last of 3 starts in Irish points (May 8) and of interest having joined top yard.
