Timeform View

TWIST OF FATECATCH gave a good account when third at Worcester last month and, with his yard going well, he is taken to return to winning ways in a change of headgear. The hat-trick seeking Roaring Home is feared most as she goes back up in trip, ahead of the reliable Orange Diamond.

Chillhi has traded at 50% or less of Betfair SP 3 times on its last 5 starts: Faded Fantasy has traded at 50% or less of Betfair SP 3 times on its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Lightfingered Jack
Hails from a very good jumping family and showed fair form when placed twice from 4 starts in novice/maiden hurdles last season. Was found to be lame when pulled up on handicap debut at Worcester 22 days ago, so he's worth another chance.
Havefunontherun (IRE)
Worcester maiden winner who improved again making a quick switch to handicaps when second of 5 at Southwell (2½m) in November. However, his progress has halted the last twice, returning from 5 months off when sixth of 10 back at Southwell in May. Cheekpieces reached for.
Roaring Home
Made her second start at around this trip a winning one in 4-runner mares handicap at Chepstow in April. Stayed on well to follow up at Aintree (2½m) last month and she can make her presence felt back up in distance.
Belvedere Blast (IRE)
Quirky sort who lost his form after landing a fourth Market Rasen success last year. However, having dropped below last winning mark he shaped encouragingly after 5 months off when third of 7 over this C&D 9 days ago. Should be sharper with recent run behind him.
Twist Of Fatecatch (FR)
Fontwell maiden hurdle winner who placed on first 2 handicap starts last spring. Didn't manage to kick on the remainder of the campaign but ran well from his reduced mark when third at Worcester 22 days ago. Major player now switched to a visor.
Faded Fantasy (IRE)
Recorded back-to-back wins under Jack Tudor last summer and ended 2025/26 in reasonable heart. Looked rusty after 5 months off when well beaten over this C&D 9 days ago, so he's entitled to be closer to form this time. Worth a market check.
Sauce Of Life (IRE)
Gained a first success over hurdles in a 19f Doncaster handicap in December 2024. However, has raced only twice since, going with little promise when fifth of 8 at Perth (2½m) in October and has been absent again since. Cheekpieces added.
Orange Diamond (FR)
Recorded a hat-trick at Worcester (all over 2½m) last year and also scored over fences at Market Rasen (3m) on Boxing Day. Has run well back hurdling last 2 starts, fourth of 9 at Bangor (2½m) 3 weeks ago, and he's shortlisted with tongue strap back on.
Chillhi (IRE)
Won twice over hurdles for James Owen in first half of last season but hasn't offered much since leaving that stable, faring no better with blinkers on for first time in this sphere when remote third of 5 at Newton Abbot (2¾m) 17 days ago. Cheekpieces reapplied.
Mexican Stan
Improved when getting off the mark in 6-runner handicap at Warwick (25f) in May, despite flashing his tail a few times under pressure. Ran respectably when making the frame at Worcester (23f) 16 days ago, though again wasn't straightforward.
