HAVANA SPRITE was turned over at odds on at Yarmouth last time but still sets a good standard to aim at. Naval Cop is by far the most appealing of the newcomers and should prove the biggest threat.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Havana Sprite traded at a low of 2.00 and Betfair SP of 1.94 when losing last time, a race in which it raced prominently.

Timeform Comments

Castlerock Girl (IRE)
NON RUNNER.
Fillipas (IRE)
Foaled January 27. £56,000 yearling, Coulsty filly. Half-sister to useful 5f/6f winner Solar Aclaim and 7f winner Nacho Nacho Nacho. Yard 0-6 with newcomers this season.
Havana Sprite
Havana Grey filly cost 150,000 gns as a yearling and showed plenty of ability despite greenness when fourth of 8 at Newmarket on debut. Couldn't justify short odds when second of 10 in novice at Yarmouth (5f, good, 4/6) 24 days ago but sets a good standard again nonetheless.
Marralyn (IRE)
Minzaal filly cost £30,000 as a yearling. Bred for longer trips but at least stepped forward from her debut when eighth of 12 in maiden at Chepstow (6f, good) 23 days ago. Likely to be seen to better effect when tackling nurseries over further.
Naval Cop
Foaled April 3. Naval Crown filly. Half-sister to 5f/6f winner Equity Law. Trainer’s newcomers always command respect.
Toolatetoeducate
Foaled March 16. Caturra filly. Half-sister to 5f/5.7f winner Toolatetonegotiate. Dam 5f/5.7f winner. Far from an obvious debut winner on paper.
