Timeform View

This is wide open but it could prove worth siding with MILAN FORTH who is less exposed than most of these and advanced his form with a clear second here last time. Emmet Mullins' Rising Dust may emerge as the main threat returning from a break, although Boston Rover also resumes on a handy-looking mark and could also play a prominent role. A Wave of The Sea has a fine record here and completes the shortlist.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Timeform Comments

Ol Man Dingle (IRE)
Dual chase winner last season. Creditable third of 16 in handicap chase at Ballinrobe (23f) 21 days ago. Cheekpieces back on now and not out of things.
Riaan (IRE)
Ended 2025 with success at Sligo in October. Respectable fourth of 14 in handicap chase at Punchestown (2½m) on his return 47 days ago when left poorly placed. Possibilities.
Boston Rover (IRE)
Progressed well over fences last summer, completing a hat-trick when seeing off 8 rivals in handicap at Gowran (2½m) in October. Ran too badly to be true at Limerick later that month and hasn't been seen since. Every chance he will get back on track here though.
Drumgill (IRE)
Landed listed handicap at Fairyhouse in November. Hasn't gone on from that effort since, though found 23f too far when seventh of 16 in handicap chase at Ballinrobe 21 days ago.
Wonleg (IRE)
Scored at Wexford (2m) last July. Off 3 months and shaped with promise when fifth of 15 in handicap chase at Aintree (2m) in April. Stamina to prove up in trip now.
Indiana Jones (FR)
Nineteen runs since last win in 2023 and he was a tailed-off seventh of 10 in handicap chase at Punchestown (2m) 9 days ago. Back up in trip.
Rising Dust (IRE)
Made it 5 wins last season in 21f handicap chase at Thurles in January. Not disgraced off 11 lb higher mark with seventh of 13 in handicap chase at Kempton (3m) following month. Freshened up since and can't be ruled out.
Linden Arden (IRE)
Scored twice over hurdles at Punchestown last season. Only seventh of 8 back chasing at Limerick (2½m) 85 days ago though so something to prove after a break.
Marv Michael (IRE)
C&D winner but ended time with Henry de Bromhead out of sorts and fared no better for new stable here 31 days ago. Blinkers replace cheekpieces now.
Milan Forth (IRE)
Fairly useful 3-time winner over fences who landed handicap at Cork (2½m) in January. Took his form up a notch with a clear second of 14 in C&D handicap chase 31 days ago. Remains quite lightly raced and he's a player.
Warriors Wood
Dual hurdles winner last summer and he's taken well to chasing, bagging 11-runner C&D handicap 15 days ago. Needs considering despite 6 lb rise.
Gaelic Arc (IRE)
Unreliable type who scored from out of the blue in 10-runner handicap chase at Punchestown (2m) 9 days ago, always holding on. This C&D scorer needs to back it up.
A Wave Of The Sea (IRE)
A 3-time C&D winner. Ended last season under a cloud but back on track when fifth of 14 in C&D handicap chase 31 days ago, despite going in snatches. Very much one to consider eased 1 lb.
El Champo (IRE)
Won twice over fences in 2025 but comes here well below par, a remote fourth of 12 back chasing in handicap at Punchestown (2½m) 8 days ago. Has work to do.
