  2. Love Like This (IRE)

  3. Smackwater Jack (IRE)

Timeform View

ANNIE'S BELLE saw her race out well when third at this course earlier in the month and she gets the nod to go a couple of places better upped to 3m for the first time. Love Like This is a long-standing maiden but arriving in good form, she can provide most resistance. Last-time-out winner Smackwater Jack and Gerrys Wish round off the shortlist.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Smackwater Jack traded at a high of 95.00 and Betfair SP of 34.00 when winning last time, a race in which it led.

Timeform Comments

Riggs (IRE)
Won back-to-back chases last spring but went off the boil later in the year and never went a yard returning from 9 months off at Wexford (25f, good to soft) recently. Hard to see him featuring back hurdling.
Smackwater Jack (IRE)
13 lb out of the weights but returned to form to win 13-runner handicap at Punchestown (3m) 8 days ago, all out to hold on. Back on his 'proper' mark here but not an obvious type to follow up.
Charlie's Gift (IRE)
Maiden who continues below his best, on the retreat when falling heavily 2 out at Limerick (2¾m, soft) last month.
Gerrys Wish (IRE)
Much more like it in handicaps during the autumn, suffering a pair of narrow reversals over 3m. Ran no sort of race after 7 months off at Sligo just under 5 weeks ago but no surprise should she leave that well behind.
Annie's Belle (IRE)
Ran well when third of 14 in handicap at this course (19f, good to soft) just over a fortnight ago, seeing her race out fully. Upped to 3m for the first time and claims with a repeat.
Chasing Crowns (IRE)
Close third at Down Royal in October but tailed off on both subsequent starts. Tongue tie worn last time discarded for her return and she's got a bit to prove.
Lily Milan (IRE)
Run to a similar level when mid-field all 3 starts in maiden hurdles and all presumably not right when well held on recent handicap debut at Wexford. Cheekpieces now on and this can reveal more.
Brother Hollie (IRE)
Wasn't seen to best effect second time up in handicaps when eighth of 14 at this course (19f, good to soft) just over a fortnight ago. Upped in trip and he should have more to offer.
Imperial Tune (IRE)
Maiden hurdler/chaser who shaped as if needing the run after 10 months off at Cork (3m, good to soft) just over 5 weeks ago.
Love Like This (IRE)
Long-standing maiden who arrives in good order, third of 15 in similar event at Sligo (21f, soft) 6 days ago. In the mix again provided this doesn't come too soon.
The Ducks Walk (IRE)
Well beaten all 3 hurdle starts but may show more now handicapping upped in trip.
Not So Serious (IRE)
Hinted at ability in bumpers for previous yard but well held in 4 starts over hurdles.
Katie's Casper (IRE)
Ran better than on handicap debut when fifth of 16 in handicap at Tramore (2¾m, good) 17 days ago, though didn't benefit from the return to further as much as might've been anticipated. First go over 3m now.
Stonecarthy (IRE)
Modest maiden at best for Kieran Purcell who was always behind after 7 months off on yard debut at Downpatrick (2¾m, good) just over 5 weeks ago. Equipment discarded and upped to 3m for the first time.
Three County Star (IRE)
Showed more than previously when fifth in a Cork maiden (23f) in April but well held in a couple of handicaps since. Cheekpieces tried now.
Youknowme (IRE)
Tailed off in varied events over hurdles, the latest after 7 months off. Absent another 9 weeks since.
Back The West (IRE)
Long-standing maiden hurdler/chaser that has made little impact in recent seasons. RESERVE.
Dylan Oak (IRE)
Won at Roscommon in June 2022. Pulled up at Tramore (2m, good to soft) when last seen under Rules 2 years ago. Point winner since (third in April). RESERVE.
Stretchemout (IRE)
Won 21f maiden chase at Sligo at the beginning of October but has found life harder in 3 handicaps around 3m since, last seen at Ayr in November. Has since moved yards. RESERVE.
