Timeform View

ENEMY LINES made a promising start when beaten only by the odds-on favourite at Doncaster last month and he can build on that effort to open his account. Blake's Lass also made an encouraging debut and could be the main danger, while Minster Boy appeals as an interesting newcomer.

Timeform Comments

Crowned (IRE)
Foaled February 1. €31,000 yearling, £5,000 2-y-o, Persian Force colt. Dam ran once in France. Faces a tough ask first time up.
Emirates Express (IRE)
Ran green and offered little making his first start when last of 10 in novice over this C&D 2 weeks ago. Looks to be up against it.
Enemy Lines (IRE)
Shaped well amidst greenness when second of 9 in maiden at Doncaster a month ago, form which has been boosted since. Could be ready to go one better with that experience behind him.
Hailstones In May (IRE)
Foaled March 24. €4,500 yearling, resold €15,500 yearling, Space Blues colt. Half-brother to 1m winner Wonderful Thing and 2-y-o 1m winner Golden Vega. One of 2 newcomers in the line-up for yard, so the market could be informative.
It's A Dream
Showed ability on debut when fifth of 12 in 6f maiden at this course 23 days ago, racing prominently before his keenness took its toll. Worth a try at this shorter trip but plenty more required.
Minster Boy (IRE)
Foaled March 25. €20,000 yearling, Calyx colt. Half-brother to several winners, including 5f winner (including at 2 yrs) Herakles and 6f winner (including as a juvenile) I'm Spartacus. Dam 2-y-o 5.7f winner. Makes plenty of appeal for yard capable of readying a newcomer.
Our Fella (IRE)
Shaped much better than on debut when staying on for third in 10-runner novice over this C&D 2 weeks ago. Further progress required in this contest.
Tree Wizard
Left debut form behind when runner-up in claimer at Beverley last month. However, failed to repeat that effort when sixth of 7 in seller at Musselburgh 9 days ago. Blinkers reached for.
Blake's Lass
In need of the experience but showed promise when keeping on for second in 7-runner maiden at Redcar on debut 3 weeks ago. Merits consideration with improvement to come.
Curious Minx
Foaled April 6. Dream Ahead filly. Half-sister to useful 1m-11f winner City Exile. Dam 6f winner. One to consider for yard which has been going well with its 2-y-o newcomers.
Holliesthedollie
Much improved from her first start when fourth of 10 in 6f maiden on the all-weather at Lingfield 11 days ago, leading until final 1f. Could take another step forward dropped in trip.
Sheer Beauty (IRE)
Foaled March 26. €23,000 yearling, 15,000 gns 2-y-o, Kodi Bear filly. Dam, 1m winner who stayed 10.5f, half-sister to useful 7f winner When Not Iff. Has a fair standard to aim at on debut.
Space Dreamer (IRE)
Showed speed on debut, leading until entering the final 1f when fifth of 10 in novice over this C&D a fortnight ago. Entitled to progress from that first outing.
Star Bayside Boy (IRE)
Foaled January 31. €17,000 yearling, Bayside Boy filly. Dam unraced half-sister to smart 8.5f-11f winner Redistricting out of winning sister to high-class performer up to 13.4f St Nicholas Abbey. Interesting on paper with the early signs promising for her first-season sire.
