Timeform View

PRIDE OF NEPAL is taken to defy the handicapper again and complete a hat-trick. Knightmare is one of few others who arrive in form. Olivia Jane and The Pug have been the subject of potentially significant trainer changes and would enter the reckoning if the betting speaks in their favour.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Pride Of Nepal traded at a high of 2.42 and Betfair SP of 2.42 when winning last time, a race in which it raced towards the rear and travelled strongly early on.

Timeform Comments

Pride Of Nepal
Went a while without a win but now on a hat-trick after 1¼m victories at Windsor and Lingfield (both good to firm) at the end of May. A further 3 lb rise may not stop him in current mood.
Louie The Legend (IRE)
Exploits mixed following last summer's Nottingham success, including below par over hurdles last time. On a career-low mark but others arrive with more pressing claims.
Alazwar (IRE)
Twelfth of 13 in handicap (28/1) at Windsor (1¼m, good to firm) 35 days ago. Now 9 lb below his last successful mark but need to see more.
Voix De Bocelli
Third 4 times in succession in handicaps during the winter but form has fallen away since. Bounce back needed.
Showmedemoney (IRE)
A dual 1m winner at Newcastle over the winter for Iain Jardine. Best effort for current yard when 3 lengths second of 11 in 1m Lingfield handicap (all-weather) 14 days ago. Needs to build on that now.
Tiger Beetle
This is his level nowadays but still not showing enough to suggest he can strike off a career-low mark.
Olivia Jane (IRE)
Promise initially for Clive Cox as a juvenile but went the wrong way over hurdles/on Flat for Oliver Signy last year. The subject of an interesting trainer change, though, and needs checking out in the betting back from 10 months off with first-time blinkers added.
Knightmare (IRE)
Remains a maiden after 17 starts but placed in Bath handicap over this trip and a Wolverhampton classified event over 8.6f on his last 2 outings. Likely to be in the shake-up.
Summer Evening (IRE)
Placed twice on all-weather at Lingfield earlier in year. Ran no sort of race on Doncaster turf debut but fared as well as could be expected when well-held fourth in 1m Bath novice last time. Much more realistic chance back in a handicap.
Pomeriggio (IRE)
Little to get excited about of late, failing to beat a rival in 2 all-weather outings at Wolverhampton over the winter.
The Pug (IRE)
Unreliable performer but did manage to win a Ffos Las classified event over this trip for Adrian Wintle last August. Has largely struggled for Micky Hammond since but a revival wouldn't surprise having switched to Olly Murphy.
