Timeform View

BEE FARMER is taken to improve again and prove too strong for Fozzie, who failed to stay 1¼m last time and had been knocking on the door in similar races prior to that. Race To The Edge is next on the list.

Timeform Comments

Wats On Tiger
Rajasinghe gelding. Dam third at 11f. Best watched on belated debut.
Bee Farmer
Much improved from debut when 7 lengths second in 1m Redcar maiden (good to firm) 22 days ago. From a good family and likely capable of better again.
Elias Escape (IRE)
Down the field on both starts this spring and looks more one for handicaps.
Fozzie (IRE)
Improved second in 7f Thirsk maiden (good) and 1m Redcar novice (good to firm) this spring. Failed to stay 1¼m at Pontefract since and should make a bold bid back in trip.
Glen Nevis
Promising start when ½-length second of 5 in 7f Doncaster novice (good to firm) in April but finished 8 lengths behind the reopposing Bee Farmer when a disappointing fourth at Redcar (1m) since.
Indefensible (IRE)
Ran up to his best when second of 10 in maiden at Thirsk (7f, good, 11/4) 11 days ago, although he was rather outbattled. Cheekpieces are reached for after that.
Lorca's Waltz
In top hands but offered only minor promise in 2 all-weather outings over the winter. Has been gelded (also tongue tied first time here) ahead of this switch to turf after 5 months off.
Race To The Edge
Promise in warm race on debut and again showed plenty to work on when third of 11 in novice at Doncaster (7f, good to firm) 10 days ago. Unlikely to be far away for in-form Roger Varian.
Melting Snow (IRE)
100/1, stepped up on debut when fifth of 9 in novice at Lingfield (7f) 35 days ago but will need to improve again to get heavily involved here.
