Timeform View

FIERCE arrives on the back of 2 good placed efforts and is taken to resume winning ways at the expense of Keldeo, who is well capable in this grade, and Dream Deal. Lord Abama is 10 lb lower than when successful last June and, from the inside stall, would also enter the reckoning if the betting suggests that a better showing is anticipated in a first-time tongue tie.

Timeform Comments

Keldeo
C&D winner. Stepped up on reappearance run when winning at Catterick (6f) in April. Not in quite the same form when fourth on all 3 outings since but she's back on a favourable mark.
Miss Brazen
Ended 2025 out of form but capitalised on a sliding mark after 6 months off at Nottingham (5f) in April. Backed up that performance when a close third over C&D next time and has a slow start as an excuse for a lesser run at Musselburgh since.
Fierce (IRE)
Pair of 6f wins last year and has returned with good placed efforts in 5f handicaps at Southwell and Carlisle in recent months. Looks ready to win again soon.
Spirit Of Applause
C&D winner. Creditable third of 9 in handicap at Newcastle (5f) when last seen in November but peak fitness has to be taken on trust after 7 months off.
Ay Gee Ell (IRE)
5f winner last year. Ran out of steam when fourth of 18 in a competitive handicap at Thirsk (6f) in April. Possibly unsuited by softish ground when well held at Pontefract since.
Jojo Rabbit
C&D winner. Latest win at Pontefract (5f, soft) in April. Runner-up twice since (including over C&D) but latest Wolverhampton run was disappointing.
Azuinthejungle
First leg of a hat-trick last summer came over C&D. Best effort this year when fourth of 8 in handicap at Ripon (5f, good to firm) 13 days ago. Working his way back to a favourable mark.
Lord Abama (IRE)
Well handicapped on much of his 2025 form but is yet to fire this season. Has a first-time tongue tie added to his usual headgear back from 4 weeks off. Worth a look in the betting.
Bibendum
Two 5f wins last year. Off 4 months, shaped better than tenth of 16 at Doncaster (6f, good to firm) suggests 10 days ago, unable to sustain effort. Back on a winning mark. Not discounted.
Dream Deal
Dual 6f winner last season. Better effort this term when respectable sixth of 12 in handicap at Redcar (6f, good to firm) 21 days ago, weakening final 1f. May come on for the run again.
