Timeform View

In a race where the market should offer plenty of clues, the vote goes to Kingman colt COOL KING, who is taken to make a winning start at the expense of fellow newcomer Macau.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

In a race that lacks confirmed pace-forcers, Patronise could get the run of things: Of the better-fancied horses, Radahn is most likely to be ridden furthest from the pace.

Timeform Comments

Comeonfeelthenoise (IRE)
Foaled March 18. €26,000 foal, €32,000 yearling, Cotai Glory gelding. Dam unraced out of winning sister to Prix de l'Abbaye de Longchamp winner Move In Time. One of the more interesting newcomers on paper and any support is likely to be significant.
Cool King
Foaled January 28. 30,000 gns yearling, £25,000 2-y-o, Kingman colt. Dam unraced sister to useful 7f/7.4f winner. Bravais out of smart winner up to 6f (including at 2 yrs) Lucky Kristale, herself half-sister to 1000 Guineas/Oaks winner Love. Appeals on pedigree and could well make a winning start.
Hadlan (IRE)
Only showed a bit when seventh of 12 in a novice at Nottingham (6f, 40/1) on debut, however, this is hardly a strong race and he cannot be discounted if building on that effort.
Havana Court
Foaled January 11. 7,000 gns foal, 20,000 gns yearling, Havana Gold colt. Dam unraced. Yard isn't renowned for its juveniles, though latest 2-y-o newcomer did hit the frame.
King Koopa (IRE)
Foaled March 6. €12,000 foal, €40,000 yearling, Cotai Glory gelding. Closely related to winner up to 9.5f Zipwire. Dam unraced half-sister to smart winner up to 1½m (stayed 16.5f) Aussie Reigns. Market usually an accurate guide for stable's debutants.
Macau (IRE)
Foaled March 1. 16,000 gns foal, €40,000 yearling, Cotai Glory gelding. Half-brother to 2-y-o 7f/7.4f winner Astrazar. Dam, third at 7f, half-sister to useful winner up to 7f Swift Approval. Bred to make an impact as a juvenile and no surprise to see him in the shake-up on debut.
Patronise (IRE)
€45,000 Dark Angel colt who was caught wide and only showed greenness on debut at Windsor, though excellent yard's 2-y-os often improve second time up.
Radahn (IRE)
Foaled April 22. €14,000 foal, 34,000 gns yearling, Dark Angel colt. Dam unraced out of very smart 1m-10.5f winner Nebraska Tornado. Stable has had a couple of 2-y-os run well on debut in recent weeks.
Zohar (IRE)
Form of his debut effort at Newmarket has some merit but he finished well held at Nottingham second time up, racing freely after being hampered at the start.
Angel Ang (IRE)
€8,000 yearling. Supremacy colt. Half-brother to several winners, including useful 2-y-o winner (up to 1½m) Prefontaine and 7f winner Multicultural. Dam winner up to 8.3f (2-y-o 6f winner). Bred to make an impact as juvenile and yard no stranger to success with debutants.
