Timeform View

Having met trouble it was striking how much ground SENORITA BONITA made up inside the final furlong to collar the reopposing Fast Track at Nottingham and she can take the step up in class in her stride. Victorious has to show she can cope with a drop back to 5f but is still feared most. Karl Burke has won this twice in recent years and has 2 solid contenders in wide-margin Carlisle winner Wild Blossom and York listed scorer Love A Giggle. US raider More Champagne also looked good on debut.

Timeform Comments

Alta Regina (IRE)
240,000 gns breezer who justified market support with ease on her 5f Lingfield debut (good to firm) 18 days ago. Looks sure to progress but James Doyle sides with Wild Blossom.
Armor Supreme (IRE)
Made all on Goodwood debut and useful effort when caught only in the dying strides by Love A Giggle in 5f York listed event a fortnight later. Should be more to come.
Big Negotiator
Pushed out to just hold off a fast-finishing runner-up and make it third time lucky in novice at York (5f, good) on Saturday. Faces a much stiffer task turned out again quickly. Cheekpieces are added.
Bint Archange (IRE)
Built on promising Newmarket debut when a ready 4-length winner of a C&D novice (good to firm) 6 weeks ago. Likely to progress again but Buick switches to Senorita Bonita.
Celtic Dispute (USA)
Both starts at Gulfstream, finishing second on dirt before going one better on fast turf 23 days later. Wears blinkers. Likely capable of better with Christophe Soumillon doing the steering.
Crownbreaker (IRE)
Promising third on Newmarket debut but slammed by Wild Blossom at Carlisle since. Perhaps the soft ground was against her in Cumbria but hard to fancy after that even though David Egan seemingly prefers her to Lover Girl.
Crystal Queen (IRE)
Confirmed her debut promise when winning the 8-runner Hilary Needler at Beverley (5f, good to firm) 18 days ago. Open to improvement for a stable which has tasted 2-y-o success at this meeting.
Drazinda (FR)
Made a winning start to her career in 8-runner maiden at Chantilly (5f, soft) 36 days ago. Likely to progress for her top French yard
Envision
Mohaather filly who was very green in the preliminaries prior to finishing fourth of 10 at Thirsk on debut and left that well behind with blinkers added (retained) when making all at Windsor (5f, good to firm) 16 days ago. That form is nothing special but she can improve again.
Fast Track (IRE)
Stepped up on debut third when short-head second of 10 to Senorita Bonita in maiden at Nottingham (5f, good to soft) 14 days ago, showing good speed. Might prove slightly flattered by her proximity to that reopposing rival but she's likely still capable of better again.
Havana Lightning
Only fifth when 6/5 for her Newmarket debut but showed why she was a short price that day with a win at Yarmouth (5f, good) 5 weeks later. Will go on improving.
Kentucky Rain (IRE)
Lucky Vega filly who was 1¼ lengths second of 8 to Pershaada in novice at Goodwood (5f, good) on debut 26 days ago, finishing with running left. Open to progress.
Love A Giggle (IRE)
Kodiac filly who made it 2-2 when pipping Armor Supreme on the line in listed Marygate at York (5f, good) 33 days ago. The stiffer 5f here should see her in an even better light. Respected for yard seeking a third win in this since 2022.
Lover Girl (IRE)
Won first 2 starts and bit better than the result (raced close to strong pace) when 2 lengths third of 10 to Love A Giggle and Armor Supreme in York listed event (5f, good) 33 days ago. David Egan looks elsewhere but she remains open to progress.
Magic Effort
Had Bint Archange and Havana Lightning behind her when making a winning debut in 8-runner maiden at Newmarket (5f, good) in April but she went backwards from that when 4¾ lengths fourth of 8 to Pershaada at Goodwood (5f, good) since.
Miss Lizzy
Fair form. Won 6f maiden at Wolverhampton in May but her subsequent fifth of 9 in 5f Chantilly listed event suggests she's unlikely to be up to the required standard here.
More Champagne (USA)
Promising type. Won 5-runner maiden at Keeneland (5.5f, firm) 54 days ago by 6½ lengths from reopposing Shining Moment. A very interesting contender from the US.
Niewiadoma (IRE)
Overcame inexperience to win 6-runner novice at Thirsk (5f) on her debut but disappointed behind a few of these in the Marygate at York since.
Pershaada (IRE)
Progressive form, accounting for Kentucky Rain when making it third time lucky in novice at Goodwood (5f, good) 26 days ago. May do better again but it will be needed.
Princesse D'orange
Easily made all in novice at Beverley (5f). Went off too hard in the Marygate at York next time but confirmed she's quite useful when ¾-length third of 8 to Where Love Lives in listed National at Sandown (5f, good) 20 days ago.
Ruiva (USA)
Blinkered, pulled 7 lengths clear of a next-time-out winner for an impressive debut success at Churchill Downs (4.5f) 7 weeks ago. Surely more to come for American yard which knows what it takes to win this.
Senorita Bonita (IRE)
900,000 gns breeze-up purchase who looked a very good prospect when picking off Fast Track late on to make a winning start to her career at Nottingham (5f, good to soft) 14 days ago, quickening up smartly having been denied a clear run. Open to significant improvement so lots to like.
Shimmering Sun (IRE)
Well backed when making a winning start to her career in 9-runner novice at Salisbury (5f, good to soft, 3/1) 25 days ago. Yet another in this line-up who is open to progress.
Shining Moment (USA)
No match for the reopposing More Champagne on debut but showed the benefit of that experience with a 3-length win at Churchill Downs (5f, firm) 4 weeks later. Wears blinkers. One of 2 for Wesley Ward.
Velozee (IRE)
Sioux Nation filly who looked good when making it 2-2 in a 5f Curragh listed race (good) last month but beaten 6½ lengths into fourth by Victorious in 6f Naas Group 3 a fortnight later. Quickly reverts to 5f.
Victorious (IRE)
Wootton Bassett filly who is 2-2 over 6f at Naas, latterly a Group 3 by a neck from highly promising newcomer Controlla, with the pair 6 lengths clear of the third. The drop to 5f poses a different question but she's a very exciting prospect.
Wild Blossom (IRE)
300,000 gns breeze-up purchase who looked something out of the ordinary when bolting up by 10 lengths from Crownbreaker on her 5f Carlisle debut (soft) last month, the same race the stable won with Venetian Sun before she took last year's Albany. A bold show looks assured.
Your Song (IRE)
Faded on heavy-ground debut but saw it out much better on a sounder surface when making all at Naas (5f, good to soft) last month. Did that more comfortably than the neck winning margin suggests.
