LATIN was a four-time winner on the Flat this winter and looks primed for an improved showing in this sphere now going handicapping on the back of a patiently-ridden fourth at Ludlow. He gets the vote from recent C&D scorer Crown of India with Bamber and Genbu appealing as the pick of the rest in the battle for minor honours.

Timeform Comments

Latin (IRE)
Better known for all-weather exploits (already won 4 times this year) but brought along steadily in this sphere and appeals as a likely improver now handicapping on the back of fourth placings in 2m novices at Hereford and Ludlow. Likely player.
Bamber (IRE)
Has shown some promise all 3 starts since switched to hurdles, fifth of 12 in 2m Taunton novice in March. Likely seen in a better light now going into handicaps after a break.
Ufouria (IRE)
Yet to add to her bumper success in this sphere but she posted a good third of 7 in handicap hurdle at Ludlow (2m) last month. No forlorn hope.
Tara Iti
A fair 2m hurdles winner for James Owen last June but yet to fire for new stable and retried in a visor when pulled up in handicap hurdle at Hereford (2½m) 62 days ago.
Crown Of India (IRE)
Capitalised on a reduced mark to bag 6-runner handicap hurdle over C&D 20 days ago. Back up 4 lb but he's expected to be bang there.
Genbu
Keen-going sort ended a losing run at Uttoxeter (2m) in May and backed it up with a solid third of 5 in handicap there (2m) 13 days ago. Possibilities.
Aquifolia
Remains winless but she comes here on the back of a respectable fourth of 6 in handicap hurdle over C&D 26 days ago.
Adaay Dancing
Modest maiden under both codes. Hood refitted and back on track with fourth of 8 in handicap hurdle at Huntingdon (2m) 29 days ago. Needs to back it up with headgear retained.
Silent Revolution (IRE)
Former Paul Nicholls inmate who hasn't shown much for some time, including both runs for his new yard at Chepstow and Cartmel this spring. First-time hood now tried.
Leading The Way (IRE)
Long-standing maiden who can only be watched returning after 16 months off.
