Timeform View

This is wide open so it could pay to side with PERSON OF INTEREST who took a step back in the right direction on his final run for John Joseph Hanlon at Downpatrick last month and could take a sizeable step forward now starting out for Faye Bramley. The progressive Both of Us rates a big threat though with Al Mootamarid and No More Bolero also in the mix.

Timeform Comments

Person Of Interest (IRE)
Won at Downpatrick last season but largely out of sorts after. Hinted at a revival in 3m handicap hurdle there last month though (in touch when brought down 2 out) on final run for John Joseph Hanlon. Not without interest for new yard, especially if the market vibes are positive.
No More Bolero
Opened hurdles account at the ninth attempt at Ludlow (2m) in November. Not disgraced when third at Sedgefield (17f) after and arrives fit from the Flat so can't be discounted.
Al Mootamarid (IRE)
A fair 1m2f Flat winner who opened his account in this sphere at Stratford last June and backed it up with two solid efforts there and at Uttoxeter last July. Should strip sharper for a recent Flat run at Chester so enters calculations.
Soldier In Mayo (IRE)
Point winner who took a step forward on his handicap debut when landing 9-runner handicap at Bangor (2½m) 13 months ago. Off since though so has his fitness to prove.
Both Of Us (IRE)
Fair winner on Flat (up to 2m) in 2025 for George Boughey. Progressing with experience in this sphere and posted a very good third of 14 in novice hurdle at Chepstow (2m) 54 days ago. Since had a breathing operation and not out of things on his handicap debut.
Peace Motivator
Unreliable sort who made it 6 successive non-completions when pulled up in 17f handicap hurdle at Newton Abbot two weeks ago.
Cawthorne Banker (IRE)
Won twice last year but out of sorts this spring, beating one over C&D last time out. Has slipped below his last winning mark though so can't be dismissed, especially if the market speaks in his favour.
Master Dunraven (IRE)
Has yet to get anywhere near his fairly useful Flat form over hurdles but better signs when third at Plumpton in January. Proved a let-down at Wetherby following month. Cheekpieces tried now after a break and handily weighted if they spark a resurgence.
Mi Sueno (IRE)
Dual hurdles winner in spring 2024 for Paddy Butler. In good nick over hurdles since joining David Brace, fourth of 7 in handicap at Stratford (2m) 31 days ago. Considered.
