DERVO ANNIE should relish the return to 7f and is taken to land the double. However, Concaire looks a serious danger, while Toy Soldier could be interesting having been gambled on last time.

Timeform Comments

Blue Anthem
Hasn't won since this time last year for previous connections, though he wasn't seen to best effect at Roscommon on his latest start, and isn't ruled out dropping into this grade for the first time.
Alex Belardo (IRE)
Sole success from 25 starts came over C&D (soft) in the autumn of 2024 and he went as close as he has since in a similar grade at Wolverhampton last time.
Roman Harry (IRE)
Overall strike rate is modest (2-41) and he was below form in a better handicap on return to turf at the Curragh last time.
Hot To Foxtrot (IRE)
Low-mileage 6-y-o maiden who wore first-time cheekpieces when third in a big-field event at the Curragh (6f) last time. That was her best effort in a turf handicap and she's worth another crack at 7f.
Pete's Dream (IRE)
Didn't look like capitalising on a falling mark on the all-weather over the winter but has been given a break and tackles this grade for the first time on turf.
Ukiyo (IRE)
Winner of a Cork handicap last autumn, she shaped as if back in form when third at Fairyhouse (6f) last time, faring best of those held up, and should remain competitive off 1 lb lower.
Toy Soldier (IRE)
Dual winner who was gambled on and duly turned in his best effort since joining current yard when fourth at Killarney (1m). That wasn't a strong race but he still merits consideration off 1 lb lower.
Dervo Annie (IRE)
Lightly-raced filly who finished a strong second over C&D before justifying support to go one better at Fairyhouse (6f) last time, getting away with the drop back in trip, and she may well follow up on return to 7f.
Concaire (IRE)
Low-mileage 3-y-o is going the right way, having only narrowly been denied at Limerick (7f) last time, and he's a serious player in a race that should be run to suit.
Zephron
Followed a respectable run with a poor one at Gowran last time. Previously worn cheekpieces replace blinkers following a short break.
Lady Kelly (IRE)
Took a step forward for first-time blinkers/a positive ride when sixth of 11 on handicap bow at Fairyhouse, and while her Irish Oaks entry looks wholly unrealistic at this stage, she cannot be discounted if building on latest run.
Miqdaad (IRE)
On a long losing run but looked on a handy mark when runner-up at Limerick last summer and should come on for recent reappearance at Fairyhouse. Previously worn cheekpieces replace visor.
Rock Etoile (IRE)
On a long losing streak and didn't repeat his previous effort (well-backed third) when down the field at Gowran latest. Cheekpieces on first time.
Mullacash Buzz (IRE)
Extended long losing sequence when sixth of 14 in a Roscommon handicap, carrying head awkwardly in first-time blinkers, but he cannot be discounted off career-low mark with cheekpieces back on.
Stonyfalls (IRE)
Matched the pick of her juvenile efforts when sixth over C&D on handicap debut/reappearance but needs to build on that. RESERVE
Royal County Glory (IRE)
Off the mark at Dundalk in April but hasn't looked like adding to that success in 2 starts on turf since. RESERVE
Brains (IRE)
Wasn't in the same form as on his previous start when sixth of 16 in handicap at Gowran (1m) and is again unlikely to get his own way in front. RESERVE
