Timeform View

KIWI DE COTTE shaped well before a calamitous late error in a hunter chase at Wexford on last month's Rules debut and looks very interesting now switching to hurdling having joined Dan Skelton. Royal Rocket and Getaway Vic are obvious threats.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Getaway Vic traded at a low of 3.50 and Betfair SP of 4.66 when losing last time, a race in which it led.

Timeform Comments

Getaway Vic (IRE)
Irish point winner who looked a good prospect in landing 2 of his 3 starts in bumpers. Hasn't quite achieved the same heights in 2 runs over hurdles this spring but ran into an improver from a top yard in first-time cheekpieces (left off here) at Cartmel latest and ought to be bang there.
Kiwi De Cotte (FR)
€65,000 3-y-o, Estejo gelding. Half-brother to bumper winner/fair hurdler Jazz de Cotte. Won both completed starts in points and shaped well prior to a calamitous late error in a Wexford hunter on Rules debut last month. Very interesting having switched to Dan Skelton.
Lunar Morning (IRE)
A faller on his only start in points and has made a discouraging start to his career under Rules, going in snatches at Plumpton latest. Visor now applied.
Premier Fantasy (IRE)
Multiple point winner who showed much more than in a hunter for Bradley Gibbs a year earlier when second in 9-runner maiden hurdle at Newton Abbot (2¾m) 16 days ago. Step up in trip will suit and merits consideration.
Royal Rocket (IRE)
Didn't last out on sole outing in bumpers but left hurdling debut form behind when third of 7 in 19f novice (22/1) at Taunton (good) in April. Unlucky to bump into one at Warwick since and must enter calculations back up in trip.
Saint Arion (IRE)
Offered more than in his sole run in bumpers when fourth of 9 in 2m maiden hurdle at Worcester (2m, good) 4 weeks ago, albeit well positioned. Upped markedly in trip and it remains to be seen if he's able to build on that.
Grey Gamble (IRE)
Modest in bumpers and well held in a pair of novice hurdles. Needs this for a handicap mark.
