Timeform View

MASTERIUS has joined a stable with a good record in this sphere after finishing runner-up on his sole outing in Irish points and is taken to go one better now switching to Rules. Royalty Row’d shaped with encouragement on his debut at Perth last month and looks capable of winning a similar event, while Fine Thing is also of interest having transferred to a prolific yard.

Timeform Comments

Scotto (IRE)
Sholokhov gelding. Brother to fairly useful hurdle winner/chaser Brayhill. Made a winning debut in clear-cut fashion starting out in a tongue strap in 6-runner bumper at Plumpton (2¼m, good) 24 days ago. That hardly looks the strongest piece of form, but he's respected under a penalty, nonetheless.
Master Chuggy
Masterstroke gelding. Half-brother to fair hurdler Prussia With Love. Dam unraced sister to fairly useful hurdler/chaser (stayed 2¾m) Kings Lodge. Third completed start in points, fell last time (May 3).
Royalty Row'd (IRE)
Soldier of Fortune gelding. Brother to fairly useful hurdler/chase winner Raglan Road. Dam, 13f winner, half-sister to useful hurdler (stayed 2½m) Aklan. Showed plenty when third of 8 in 2m Perth bumper on debut last month and is up to winning a similar event.
Masterius (FR)
€9,000 3-y-o, £30,000 4-y-o, Pastorius gelding. Half-brother to 2 winners, including French chaser Lowry. Dam unraced half-sister to French chaser (21f-3¼m winner) Harry Brown. Runner-up sole outing in Irish points (May 9) and must be taken seriously on Rules debut.
Fine Thing
€20,000 3-y-o, £20,000 5-y-o, Soldier of Fortune mare. Half-sister to useful 19f/25f hurdle winner Ree Okka. Placed all 3 completed starts in Irish points and has to be of interest now setting out under Rules for top stable.
Missy Moises
Moises Has filly. Dam, French hurdler (17f winner), sister to fairly useful hurdle winner/useful chaser (stayed 33f) Cruz Control out of French hurdler/chaser (winner up to 21f) En La Cruz. Bred more for stamina than speed but interesting with Sean Bowen booked.
