Timeform View

The well-bred SUPERIOR CHOICE looked a fine prospect when winning at Leicester last time and he should be able to concede a penalty to chief rival Hatteen.

Timeform Comments

Superior Choice
1,100,000 gns Dubawi colt of a Group 1 winning dam. Built on debut promise when landing 6-runner maiden at Leicester (1¼m) 55 days ago, overcoming the run of the race in the manner of a smart prospect. Likely capable of better again and he's the one to beat under a penalty.
Act Of Generosity
875,000 gns yearling by Sea The Stars colt. Sent off a short price but was held back by inexperience when 8½ lengths fifth of 6 to Superior Choice in maiden at Leicester (1¼m, good to firm) on debut 55 days ago. Likely to improve but hard to see him turning the tables.
Hatteen (IRE)
Showed fair form at 2 yrs and stepped up on his reappearance when second of 9 in maiden at Newbury (1¼m, good, 7/2) 35 days ago. Might have to settle for the same position here behind an exciting prospect.
Ragazzo Grandi (IRE)
58,000 gns yearling, No Nay Never colt. Half-brother to 2-y-o 5f winner Fox Degree. Dam twice-raced half-sister to useful 11.6f/1½m winner Lostwithiel. Not an obvious type on this belated debut.
Zurna
Sea The Moon gelding showed more than on debut when mid-field in a Windsor novice 11 days ago but is seemingly being brought along with handicaps in mind.
